So when im going to buy a mech, it's writen: speed(F/R) = 80/50

what do F and R stand for? is it max speed and minimum?

I dont want to spend the c-bills without making sure

Forward and reverse.

Also, go to smurfy's before buying ANY mech

mwo.smurfy-net.de

You can use it to see what builds you can do with each mechs, and what speeds you can reach with them.

others have answered the F/R question..

but remember, that max speed rating is not the max speed that mech can possibly go...its the max speed for that mech with the engine that it currently has in it...put a bigger engine in it and it will go faster...

Direct smurfy link (it's a really good website): http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab (I know Iraqiwalker already posted this but direct link is better. :o )
Direct Mechspecs link (also a good website for builds): http://www.mechspecs.com/forum/
Remember you need 3 variants to master a chassis. If you're gonna pick a mech make sure you know that you're gonna enjoy it, as you'd spend a bit of time on it.
