But I guess clan genetic engineering may come with some knowledge about how to avoid inbreed related problems Which freeborn inbreed may be randomised in.

Also, afaik the trueborn stuff only counts for the warrior caste, so techs and regular people still breed normally?

Outside of that they do not care one iota how a member of the clans gets there rocks off. So long as it dose not impair work productivity and protection is used so that unauthorized freebirths are not brought into clan society. (still happens form time to time). It may be creepy to you from a real life/inner sphere perspective, but from a clan perspective this is of no concern to anyone, at any level of socaty.

Well, yes and no.. However i assure you that the scientists responsible for the eugenetics program of each Clan must be well aware of the risks of inbreeding and know what they are doing in their mixing of genes
