When should it show up? I was pretty sure I completed the challenge. How do I check? Or did I read something wrong ... Again

I'm wondering the same thing. The way I read the original post, I just had to play ten matches.

" All participants who play 10 matches will receive a free Hula Girl cockpit manually injected at the end of the tournament!"

What does manually injected mean? When I go to cockpit items, it shows that I have to pay MC to get a Hula Girl. Do I manually inject it, or does a dev? Can we get something more specific?

They have to add it to your account manually. Probably an automated process to be honest, but they have to filter the accounts and click the button

A script needs to be developed. It's low priority and scheduled after Community Warfare.

You should be able to collect the Hula Girl when you login now... assuming you opted in and did the 10 matches.

I've just collected mine.

It's been automatic in the past (ie. Centurion & Thunderbolt), as that was a new feature of UI2.0.
There could have been a backend system change to allow for filtering and applying of items to specific players, which the team wanted to test with this tournament. That's why they did the Centurion give-away too, it was a test that they slotted in to a PR win.

It's bad/annoying when the game doesn't tell you exactly what you got. Guesswork/Detective work required unfortunately.

The real question now becomes : When are they going to make it so it's not so damned hard to find fitted engines, modules, or vanity items?


I know they have a list of things that they want to get a handle on but will we have to wait for updates until AFTER CW?

Will we get to see the list of planned changes for UI 2.0?

Basically it's just good DB practice. They are batching the job so that it doesn't load on the server. Just be patient.

Yeah, no hula girl here still. I opted in, and completed WAY more than 10 solo drops. I had a faction assigned the entire time, as well.
