Ok in the Legendary Founders package it said our name will be in the credits, this is cool btw, but leaves me one question. Will in be our pilot name on the forums or can we Opt-in to use our real name? I would prefer using my real name and not my pilot name.

I suppose having your real name in there is somewhat proof that you were a Founder, but then it could be another person with the same name as yours.

Personally I think you play as your pilot name, have that name reflected.

Then you become Joe Uberl33tskillz Andersson. in the credits.

However i do not want my real name to reflect in the credits, what if some day a pissed of guy int he game decides to look you up and hunt you down, harassment and so on, i do not want my real in the credits.

Well, at best he'd only have either your forum name, or your real name, or both. So long as you're smart and don't go posting your personal info, it's unlikely he'd find out where you live, and CC info is confidential.

In a nutshell, from just your name alone you have very little to actually worry about. I'd look at it like this: If someone does manage to find you based on forum name and/or real name alone with NO other information available, then dude's a pro assassin and you'll likely never know he was after you until you're already standing besides St. Peter or Allah or the Omnissiah or the Flying Sphagetti Monster or whichever deity you belive will meet you in the afterlife.

There does need to be a method for opting in or out, or choosing the method in which your name will be displayed. There are a lot of reason someone may want just their real name, or just their player/character name and respecting that would just show courtesy on Piranha's part.
