Instead we get nationality flags, subwoofers, and other immersion breaking crap on top of lore breaking maps (COUGH HPG COUGH) and no one seems to care anymore as long as they get their shiny and/or "show those mean haters by supporting the devs!"
Sigh...
Can't wait for no one to care that the clan mechs have the same reused control panels that they reuse for every mech and the same reused pilot model...

Are you kidding I love this look. If i could I'd wood panel my entire mech.
Really if I could convert my Dragon into a 70's station wagon with autocannons attached that would be the best case scenario.

So this is all your fault? You're the target demographic? IS right? These are IS speakers, see? AHhh... problem solved.

I'm honestly fine with sound effects as well, however, I don't see the need for in cockpit modelling of speakers and would prefer to not have them.
Cheers.

The guys who brought you UI 2.0, Ghost Heat, Gauss Charge, 3PV, ECM... do I have to go on?
But seriously, those things are ugly. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the video the first time. Not only are they really ugly regarding both design and implementation, but they are also just absurd. Why the heck should we install speakers in the cockpit? There are already speakers for radio transmission and external microphones, both in the cockpit and in the neuro helmet.
