Weapon Balance Updates

New Hero Blackjack! BJ-A "The Arrow"

Hardpoints:
Left Arm: 3 Ballistic
Left Torso: 1 Energy, 1 AMS
Center Torso: 1 Energy
Right Torso: 1 Energy
Right Arm: 3 Ballistic

Jump Jets: 4



New Champion Shadow Hawk 2H

There will now be 12 trial mechs rather than 4. Nice (and they're all worth a damn being Champions!)

Track IR: in.

HUD and UI bug fixes

4 selectable Clan factions (3 more in the works, in-game date being rolled back soon for those who didn't know)

Why the 2H? The standard Streakhawk would have made a perfect trial.

I'm thinking that a 2D2 with an AC/5 (because a new player would jam up a UAC/5 constantly), 2 ML, and 4 SSRM would be better. XL300 or so engine. Gives a long-range poking tool while still retaining the close-range power of MLs and SSRMs.

I hope we can filter out the Trial mechs. I hate being forced to see 4, let alone 12.

Could we PLEASE have the morons over at NGNG stop creating hero mechs? I don't even necessarily think that the Arrow is bad but it would sure be nice to have PGI's lap dogs stop being the go to source for ideas. For that matter, let's have NGNG go back through and "fix" the prior heroes.

Slight Increase in Acceleration

That lone ballistic seems strange. Having it be just 4 missiles instead of 3M + 1B would seem more intuitive, but whatever.

yea i think we have had enough heros for awhile, if you havnt gotten enough funds from the ones you already have then you're already screwed.

I mean god you say it costs 250k for a new map i can't imagine how much a hero mech costs.... with all those special camo's and backstories!!!!

seriously have those guys work on something else.

That's pretty boring, then. It's basically born to do 6 MGs + 2 ERLL and that's it. Not a bad loadout by any means, but a more interesting variant would have had missiles.

I hope it's sarcasmn? I am sure they can spend the resources on making or fixing assets for a map instead of mechs. You know.. like prioritising things right. And not some mechs for MC.
