I really do not like them either, as said a couple pages ago. At least we have them Now make the in game logo classic style and colour with small enhancements to make up for this misstep PGI

So, they have changed every single element they have introduced from the mechs to the loadouts to the weapons...
Literally, every single thing is similar yet just different enough for people to notice the differences.
And now the clan flags/logos get the, old-made-new treatment.

So what else is news?
Seriously, if you did not see this coming from a mile away, you have not been paying attention.

Just because we aren't surprised by the inevitable disappointment doesn't mean people still won't get outraged at just how surprising badly they handled yet another release. Why do you think they keep releasing screenshots of the clan mechs? It's an effort to spread the disappointment out over several months/weeks. If the shear amount of disappointment and rage over all the poorly designed mechs were to be released all at once, the world would probably explode.

A letter to PGI: FYI feel free to leave your lil twist off of anything you wish to release in the future. If you have any doubts what something should look like, feel free to use a model or design from past games and keep your grubby lil mits off of it.

These new icons make me sad with the exception of Jade Falcon. People keep saying they look more menacing and dynamic... they're not supposed to.

They're the noble icons of nation-states, not logos for kids' soccer jerseys.

Jade Falcon does feel true to the original, but I have to echo others here, why change anything at all? Little to no changes were made to IS icons. Why are these different?

Why fix something that is already working quiaff?

I have said this before and I say it again... I am disgusted by the Clan Logos... I was really looking forward to it but when I saw them...

Let us hope they listen and change them to what they were.

Someone mentioned something about the 80's and 90's logos and why they should matter now... Take a look at the FedEx logo. An established logo which people recognise. The same is it with the Clan Logos. We know them and we stand by them.

Why not give us an option of new vs classic? 8 choices instead of 4 does not seem to be a big deal...

I say keep the style, but bring them a little closer to what we are use to.

Same time, like a lot of other aspects of MWO we just adapt and move on.

The proportions of the GB logo are what throws me off. Head is definitely too far in the air and whats with the skinny paws? Not to mention the Ghost Bear is stark white, not blue. And why is there orange around the GB logo?
The Wolf's eye makes it look like its having a seizure or passing something out its other end.
The Jade Falcon also looks disproportionate but I cannot pin down just what bugs me about it.
And CSJ reminds me of a cub more than it does of a fearsome predator, in addition to being a black panther instead of a Smoke Jaguar.

As it has been stated before, I do not understand why they changed these when the IS redesigns actually LOOK like their previous versions.

what was wrong with the originals in the first place? The IS houses have their logo's pretty much in tact. Why can't we?

This has to be the single most stupid screwup by PGI in a long long line of stupid screwups. If they had started redesigning the house logos way back in closed Beta, I never would have contributed a cent to becoming a founder.

Today they have shown total disdain for the Battletech property and its fans and turned MWO into some kind of cheap cartoon game for little kids.
