People are more emotionally attached to their own clan. So if something new comes by to change it in any way, they are more likely to hate it. Makes sense to me.

Doesn't look rabid to me. I prefer this shade of red more than the orange the old one had. Stars I couldn't give two flying feathers about since I hardly noticed it beforehand.

I grew up with Mechwarrior 2 as a kid so I should be more biased towards the old design, but I really like the new design more. Personal preferences I guess. Of course, comparing the old to the new is like comparing Basic to complex, or 16 bit era games to PS4/Xbox One games.

How can you Respect the Clans and at the same time accept these are their representations. Maybe the New guys but not me.

The Wolf is not supposed to be feral. The Original portrays a strong, honorable and just Clan, just how they are supposed to be!

I like them pretty much. Only Ghost Bear looks a bit like a Disney-Brother-Bear-Torpedo.

Personally I like this, especially if they do a different icon for Wolf In Exile, since the wolves became crusaders later. Clans are supposed to be fierce anyways.

For me it's not about change from the old - the old CSJ logo was bad too. It's a problem with the sheer failure of design across the board. Contrast, form, color choice, all ... could be better.

I think Jade Falcon logo is the best, must had crusaded designer pretty hard to get this amount of style.
