I dont see what the uproar is about. They are all readily identifiable as to the clan they represent. They have had a bit of detail added to make them look more realistic/fancy/advanced. Not a total redesign as some people are crying.

Meldric dont forget the American flag has been changed a few times over the years.

These are going to look awesome on the side of mechs! Come on PGI make mech decals in future patch. Just happy I get to play as a clanner, finally!

Do not get me wrong, having the Faction Logos is a huge step forward... But the redesigned logoes? Come on...

The Clan Wolf one is incredibly ugly in my eyes. Also, by changing the Clan Faction logos, they also change what each Clan stand for and how they are portrayed.

Clan Wolf looks more like a rabbid dog than that honorable creature in the original one.

Jade Falcon looks more like raiders than the high and mighty they are supposed to be.

The Smoke Jaguar one makes them look like kittens, not a pouncing Jaguar.

Ghost Bear makes me think about a fat polar bear. No offense to the supporters of the bear of course.


Point is that they should not have redesigned them. Why radically change something that people know and love? Please PGI, change the Clan Faction Logoes to their original logos. Hell, I would even be glad enough to make them for you.

I think the wolf logo is the best of the 4. I like CGB, but it is looking up to much. CGB are not a bunch of snobs.

Why not design in in a way where it's fresh and new but stays true to the Old design. I cant see that with these new logos.

They used too many colors. The one I like the least is Clan Smoke Jaguar. The old logo wasn't that good either, but this one... the black cat with the painted fingernails... blhac...

I have no idea why PGI decided to redesign Clan logos. Ghost Bear one is definitely screwed up.

I would love to see a petition to change the Clan Faction Logos to their original ones... These are just... Ugh...

Forgive me but I am really disappointed. As a long time fan of MechWarrior, these are just.. Incredibly ugly in my eyes. :/

Honestly i will get used to them.. But it really sad to see how they have been redesigned so much.

The Wolf looks really a "mad dog" eh.. But still better than Clan Black Cat

I do find it strange they wanted to re-design these icons.

However, I find them to be better than the originals.
Ghost bear is the only one that has a real mistake on it, I get it's looking upwards to be more intimidating, but it's looking too far up. Bring it's face down a little and it'd be perfect.
Smoke Jaguar has a major improvement. It looks much more intimidating, and we can see more of the Icon (even if half of it's missing, the old version made it so you couldn't see most of it)
Jade Falcon has a major Improvement as well. The old one made them look Fat+Slow. Aren't they supposed to strike hard and fast from the air?
Wolf is basicly just a graphical upgrade. It's similar to the original, but looks much more fierce now

If I am not completly mistaken, the falcon logo looks like the logo of one of the Jadefalcons galaxys.

Just completly useless waste of time and resources... Why not use the time for something that has been promised?
