This actually disturbs me as well, especially as an ardent reader of Scandinavia and the World. That said, there's also a number of other flags yet to be represented in our cockpits: With a total of 195 to 249 Terran nations, depending whether you use diplomacy or sports as a barometer. We hope to get all the top ones from where our MechWarriors descend and play from represented ASAP!
As long as I can get a flag of the glorious nation of North Korea then I will be fine. :0

I don't quite think you know much about TrackIR. There's free software available and you can make one yourself using ink pens some wire and an IR light. Also, I use mine with only one monitor and thats all you need. Also... Oculus is not really a cheap setup.
Oh that's great! Yesterday as I was cleaning my work area I ran across a bag of IR LEDs I'd bought years ago and thought "what am I ever going to do with these?" Good thing I didn't toss 'em, new project time!

+1000. 12 Trial Mechs is great but having them all jumbled in with my owned Mechs is going to drive me Nuts .
Trials need their own seperate selection in the Purchasable/Owned/(Trial) dropbox.

UI 2.0 is fixed and in a good place. I know this because PGI told me so.

(I like the clan wolf banner. But it doesn't have the same "feeling" as the "old" one. )
Still, nice job.
same it looks more like a logo, the new one looks like it would be a cool animated button that would snarl when you click it, reminds me of the bit in MW2 when you chose yore side.

Don't bother. The encryption appears to be enabled. Without Official TrackIR hardware and software it won't work with MWO. Very annoying. TrackIR is a horrible company.
PGI: please allow open source head tracking.

And for the love of god do something about jump snipers already. I just finished a match where 8 out of the 12 mechs from the other team were victors or cataphracts bobbing up and down like the stupid mole game they have at arcades.

Not complaining about the AC "nerf" (I actually think it was needed, and a good idea to boot), the idea of a champion-meta-SHawk just seems really stupid to me... But that's just me. Other than that, me likey the patch notes.
(Edited to add: Side note, if they add a "Trial/Champion" option to the mech filter dropdown... I would hope it wouldn't exclude my Phoenix mechs {which are apparently Champions} out of my owned mechs to include them in the Champion filter...)

Wow. No credit where it is due? They finally tweaked a lot of the weapons that have been in waiting for awhile and will release new ui, mechs and modules for clans. You may not care for the Clan stuff but they are doing a lot to incorporate them. So contrary to what you think, they were quite productive.
There is no credit to give. Since the majority of the patches only ever seem to be weapons buffs, fixes, and nerfs you are conditioned to think that is productivity. It is not. The one constant is players constantly complain about weapons balance, meta, etc. and even after the millionth round of weapons buffs, fixes, and nerfs people still complain about weapons balance, meta, etc.. People complain about high pinpoint damage, FLD, hit registration, damage registration, ghost heat, hitcoxes, HSR, weapons convergence, weapons buffs, weapons fixes, weapons nerfs, and on and on and on and on. Even after the patches where these changes are made the game is still not better or even remotely fixed.
The weapons are the weapons and have/had historical values assigned to them that made sense. The one implementation that solved the previously listed problems and is assigned to the only consistent weapons system (SSRMs)that works is the random hit mechanic which was in TT. It would fix all the above problems in one swoop and the great thing is it is already implemented in the game. It would even make all mech chassis viable. Sure you want to hit what you aim at but for some reason not even the devs can figure out how to make it work. Wanting to hit what you aim at is causing all the above problems requiring constant monkeying with code which is breaking many other aspects of the game requiring even more complicated code which is breaking even more aspects of the game all the while causing major delays in releasing content.
Ultimately, if you want to hit what you are aiming at you are all for a broken game. You are all for overly complicated ways of attempting to solve the problems that don't actually solve the problems. You would think after so long you would get fed up with it. The majority of the community like masochism because that is the only possible way you can endure all the above problems and not want the simplest solution to end the constant facepalming?
“With all things being equal, the simplest explanation tends to be the right one.”
