Amen! Assets which could've been used to work on something like... I don't know... hmmmmmm... CW or maps?

First off, ballistic weapon tweaks: yeah I guess for balancing, but that just feels silly!

And then trial mech changes: ... this will be fun.

Did you forget about the TBT-LG ? It was released between the IV-Four and The Arrow.

Of the last 3 released, I actually prefer the Loup de Guerre. If they hadn't nerfed the engine rating of the IV-Four so much, it would be my pick for tops of the last 3 heros.

Yeah, or improving the flow of the Mechlab :)

The mechlab was fine as it was. Sure it had issues but nothing gamebreaking. Improving the mechlab does nothing to improve the gameplay, make the game less stale, or add much to the game. None one was quitting the game because the mechlab was not very good. They are quitting the game because there are no new maps, no new game modes, no CW, and other major problems. They kept saying that the mechlab and UI needed these new looks for CW but they have not even done anything with CW as Russ said in his recent reddit Q&A.

Agree with most of what you say there Ice :D . Cant wait for CW, New Maps are always good, and I prefered the old Mechlab.
For me tho tinkering away in the Mechlab is a big part of the gameplay in MWO. The new Mechlab is a clicky nightmare and small tweeks to the workflow and information layout would add to the game as a whole. Not expecting a major overhaul but I would like to know that one of my favorite parts of the game(Building Mechs) is getting a little attention.
