damn that video was pretty epic, i like the part where it rear cores a DS and the slow motion LPL near the end.

You have to constantly look at your target to maintain ANY weapons' fire...

No, not even close. You fire, look away, spin around, circle your target, whatever, then look back when your weapons are ready to fire again. It's the single most important thing you can do.

MWO is a game of jousting, and MGs are daggers. Made of aluminum.

I plan on getting one when it goes on sale. It looks just too much fun to pass up on.

Fantastic mech. Swapped LPL for a PPc, dropped one ton of ammo and added two JJ. Fantastic to run in. If they raised the engine cap it might be borderline OP. I loved BJ, although I came to them late and begrudgingly because from my other mechs they seemed too easy to kill. But it is one of the chassis I seem to do better in than I see in many and the Arrow is even more beastly.

This is one of the few mechs in its class that make me change up my game in my Jenner. I played against a few skilled pilots last night, and it can put a hurt on you if you get sloppy. It is an absolute joke in my jager, though. I was probably not facing skilled drivers in those few cases, however. As an opponent, they are capable in skilled hands from what I've seen. Probably not a newcomers best choice though.

I meant specifically with the BJ. With most variants, to keep up steady fire, you're almost constantly facing your enemy.

Nothing is stopping you from twisting and turning to spread damage with the Arrow. You just have to lay off the trigger while you do so... just like you have to with every other ballistic and energy weapon in the game.

IMO, its legs are its weakest point. I had no problem keeping all torsos (and my XL) in good shape, but i was definitely losing legs more than i usually do.

Yup, noticed that too. I sure don't remember losing legs on my ac20 BJ1 so often, but wow, this thing does turn into Peg Leg Pete mighty fast.

Really? I've not lost a leg yet (I run full leg armor on all JJ capable mechs however).

I run 43 of 44. If that 1 pt is getting me legged I'll eat Sephlock's hat, lol!

I ran it in maybe 10 or so matches tonight, trying to find a loadout that worked for me. I tried stock, dual LL, and dual PPC.
I had trouble with all the builds except the dual PPC build, then again, I also had some really derp teams while I was solo pugging.

I've had a 5 kill match where i used all 4 tons of my MG ammo. Accuracy is at 77% with the MGs.

But yeah, usually the match is either over or i'm long dead before i can unload that much MG ammo.

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...157a94bcb8cfcdd

like it shough have never needed the AMS.

My only gripe is that annoying .5 ton left over from most builds that cause you to go and switch and add things like AMS to try to compensate for.
