I cannot tell you how upset I was that I could not use that as a username.
In hindsight I should not have been surprised, but I sat there for several minutes in shock.

I am more concerned about those using it in a wrong meaning.
For example, i see many ending their posts with
"Seyla,
Star Commander XYZ"
At least when i say it to agree with someone who said a very good thing i suppose itsmeaning is fitting to the situation

I agree, but its also the most clanny way of solemnly saying "Eff Yeah!" "Amen" or "This is worthy" all the other exclamations are put downs.

Solahma-solahma unit is generally an infantry unit made up of old or dying Clan warriors. Though often used as garrison forces, these units prefer to be used as shock troops. In this way, the aging warriors can serve their Clan to the bitter end, dying in combat - a death considered far more appropriate and honorable than dying in bed

By the way, Sarna doesnt have as complete a Dictonary as they once did, will have to dig out my MW2 CD and get the Clan terms from it
Regarding the useage of 'Seyla'; It is usually used in Rituals but is not limited to them. It can mean as an 'Amen', as a 'So Mote it Be', as 'I feel strongly about what I (or someone else) has said' or as a 'Good Hunting' or 'Farewell' (usually in a formal way).

Forgot the big one Bondcord- The Bondsman will recieve a 3 braided cord when taken ,as the Bondsmans actions reflect his becoming one with the clan. the Bondholder can cut a braid if certain actions merit. After all 3 cords are cut the Bondsman is accepted into the clan as a clansmen. The actions usually have to be something extraordianry to get that far or must hae been faithful to service for a long period of time.
