No sir, they were absorbed into ComStar and exploited by WoB.

[MT]Shiek's logo. Wonder if his website is still up. Haven't talked to him or Titan in ages.

Excellent idea, I too vote for the Cameron Star as the generic clan symbol. The "daggerstar" is the symbol of a Clan MechWarrior only, ignoring our other combat arms.

WE are the true descendants of the Star League, we alone have the right to wear the symbol of our forefathers. We have forever held the unity of the Star League as our goal, it is the whole reason for Operation Revival - we are trying to rid the Inner Sphere of the corruption that destroyed the Star League, period.

While the Inner Sphere has been hurtling towards the stone age under their present ruling houses, the descendants of the Star League have been advancing mankind's knowledge. We started with nothing, and in 300 years have advanced mankind's knowledge past the pinnacle even reached by our forefathers. There can be no other, our goal, our symbol must be the Star League.

Heresy! Unconfirmed conspiracy theory rumors!

Long live Clan Wolverine/Minnesota Tribe! Still hiding in the Deep Periphery... stealing all the stuffs... and biding our time.

Sillyness aside, I'm from Minnesota, so that's why I want the icons :D.

First: The daggerstar is used as the general symbol of the Clans in Classic BattleTech Universe, on page 33.
Moreover, different variations of the daggerstar are also used for roles other than MechWarrior, most notably at the Nova Commander level (see Field Manual: Warden Clans, page 14).

Second: The only force that deserves to wear the Cameron Star (or any variation thereof) is the Star League Defense Force (both the original SLDF, and the Second SLDF).
The Clans are corruptions of & pretenders to the Star League's ideals, and do not deserve to wear the Cameron Star as a generic symbol (as that is the purpose of the daggerstar).

'Twas a long shot, I do not know that person I am afraid. But we Minnesota Tribe representin' the BattleTechs! Us present and former Minnesotans also refer to it as Minnesnota though, haha.

I abandoned clan Wolverine.

I decided that although the clan with no name would be an excellent backstory, clan Wolf has both
1) an influential slot in CW and
2) a NCAA preference because I went to NC State and do not much care for U of M. Go Pack!

Or you could play a clan that actually had the balls to invade in the first wave.

Or the brains to say it was a bad Idea, which ultimately resulted in us having to do half the thing ourselves for various reasons. :)

Finally, the warriors of Clan Spaniel will have an appropriate flag to use in game.

I attribute all of that to a little thing called "plot armor".

Also, might I remind you that Clan Wolf are directly responsible for that traitorous unit called "Wolf's Dragoons".

Honestly Kerensky was a little whiny little kid who took his ball (the SLDF) and went home (albeit a new one), instead of shouldering the burden of assuming command of the Inner Sphere and guiding it into the future.

Going to toss in here too: Kerensky's ideal society went pants on head ******** within a couple of generations by going to a full on Feudalistic fascist warrior caste dominated society, who somehow forgot about the little details of war like logistical supply lines. Also his son was a closet fury.

So it is safe to say that there are a lot of us in the Clans that are not terribly happy with the lack of our faction getting representation.

I understand the trouble, there are 17 clans in total and only 7 got involved in the invasion total.

BUT can we please get a generic clan icon until our factions actually get a tag? Something to shows others that we are indeed clan and not lonewolves or mercs?

How about a generic sig pic?

First: ...useless drivel...

Don't care what you think, As the TRUE descendants of the Star League Defense Force ONLY the Clans can truely even think to wear the Cameron Star.

You seem to be forgetting that General Alexsandr Kerensky practically begged the House lords to choose a new First Lord after he alone defeated the usurper (the great houses did not help). They had their chance and blew it.

Since you are so fond of pictures:

Weren't the Nova Cats added to the Invasion with the intent to cause strife? Otherwise Why would ilKhan Kerensky pair them with the Smoke Jags... a known rival?

To there credit the nova cats and Smoke jagures did atleast try to cooperate for a time as opposed to the stell vipers and jade falcons.

and i think its great that diamond shark nova cats and steel vipers will be getting representation...eventually. but what about coyote and hells horses? they should not were the Cameron Star of shame forever. we as clanners should not rest until all are brothers and sisters can join us. the lore be damned, due to playes determaning the events of the invasion the future is completely unwritten we should stand and fight together, against the barbarians that disgrace the legacy of the star league and against PGI who refuses to acknowledge are trothkin. stand together and don't stop until we all get are faction tags.

Mercs need an MRBC/Outreach symbol of somekind (the current icon is pretty weak imo) and a Clan Daggerstar would be appropriate for our non-invader Clans in the meantime I think.

I think we should reserve the Cameron Star for after we take Terra.
