Likely nothing. Maybe Oblivion, or Shogun Total War 2. Maybe I'll even fire up the PS3, God forbid, and poke around with that.

I had purchased the full clan package and then some, but it was less about wanting a few more 'mechs for my roster (I'm still not even done leveling my Phoenixes), but about supporting MWO during what sounded like the final stretch to getting Community Warfare up and running.

However, two years later and CW - though it was supposed to be released before the game even came out of beta, is still only on paper. I could live with it if it was still in programming, but there has been nothing but stagnant gameplay and procrastination from the dev team.

If I do fire it up I'll likely play like I always do. Grind the next 'mech for my Draconis Combine roster of 'mechs to no forseeable purpose in the future. Without the ability to dedicate time to a clan, and being in a fully opposite time zone, CW would be thing outside of the Battletech/Mechwarrior name keeping me here.

I will be piloting the same things as normal. Basicly just trying to get every mech mastered in the game. :D

They where the mechs piloted by the IS pilots who kicked the living **** out of the clan on The Battle of Tukayyid. Seems the vaunted clan forgot that in war anything goes and winning is the ULTIMATE goal.

Most of the Clan mechs are slow and can't modify their engines. I reckon the classic 2ERLL Raven would do well, but I'll likely play my Jenner anyway.

You've got to be kidding right? Besides the direwolf and warhawk all those clan mechs will run 90kph or higher with speed tweak. Even the stock speed is faster then most IS mechs.

I really don't think the Clan mechs will make the I.S mechs obsolete, nor will they be the battlefield ruling monsters some think they will be. Clan mechs can and will die just like every other mech.

I'll pilot my usual mechs - Phracts and Jagers.

Unless PGI is giving out free stuff on that day, nothing.

I never log on except for freebies. The game is terribly stagnant, boring, pointless, and frustrating at times.

That's why I asked for a refund on the Ryoken Collection, thought about buying something a la carte but said fuggit and just put my credit card away.

No clan ECM, so boat as many LRMs as you can. I usually boat 50 tubes and 13 tons of LRM ammo and put tag in one of your hard points. Stick to indirect fire, those clan mechs can put out a **** ton of theoretical damage if they get a clear shot.

Anything fast with good alphas - don't make yourself a juicy target. Learn which limbs carry the majority of their armament and pop them off in the first few engagements.

Sure, clanners pack some punch but they've got significantly less armor. Go CT every shot with some good focused fire and you'll be smiling.

I plan to be running 95kph+ mediums with 40pt alphas and gleefully await the shower of "Component Destroyed" notices that'll rain down my screen. :D

Probably take a Jenner out as I know them best. I'm curious if lights will still be viable against SSRM-6's and whatnot. Given the historic hatred lights tend to get from heavy and assault pilots I expect to see a lot of Clanner missile hardpoints loaded with the bigger SSRM racks. Can a light even survive against that for longer than a salvo or two?

I feel real bad for the Clan lights if they can't upsize their engines. At least the IS lights can duck behind cover and run away, most of the Clan lights can't actually get away from the Clan mediums and heavies. They won't be able to escape the Streak barrages at all.

Will ECM counter clan SSRM locks? If so... there's your #1 defense as a IS light pilot. Sure, it limits your chassis choice, but...

Commando's. I might just strip all the weapons out and put in the biggest xl I can fit and run circles around the clanner lights.

I will run the same stuff I always do. I don't think one specific chassis will do better against clanners than another chassis.

I really don't think it'll be very bad times for the IS guys, the field will be full of mechs with around 0 efficiencies likely for weeks, and likely many of the initial builds will be bad frankenmechs - people trying to figure out how stuff works and what's worth lugging around.
