I'm not a graphic artist and I don't want to offend the PGI artist's work, but this is how the Clan logos should be:



And a bonus: (for players of other Clans)




PS: I just made a montage of the traditional Clan logos with some basic Photoshop. I didn't draw and don't own these sources.

EDIT: Like the traditional logos best? Vote in the pool. This pool was locked by a mod.

Also the old CJF logo looks like a fat pigeon not a falcon.

Honestly the only one I didn't like was the crazy face Smoke Jaguar. The Jade Falcon actually looks like a bird of prey now (they just need to define the beak a tad more and handle of the sword), Ghost Bear looks awesome to me, and the Wolf is interesting.

Haha, your right about the Wolf one.. looks more like the Wolf was about to sneeze before the pic was taken.

However I must say the new SCJ logo looks better than the old one which kind of reminded me of a different francise for some reason;

Those logos were made using art of other guys; I don't "own" them. PGI would need to remake the logos but hey, that's not a difficult job for a professional.

Plus, they would need to simplify the designs a little to better match the way they treated the IS art. Same logos, same designs, but they kept it to only a smattering of textureless colors. Which works because it adds visual drama to it over the stark background.

These would have been much better and appreciated a hell of a lot more than what we got. They tried too hard with all the detail. It is a logo, not a character. I like the addition of the dagger star too, looks good.

I love them. They are traditional with a touch of new flavor as well. If you made a poll you would have my vote in an instant!

I agree about Clans Wolf and Smoke Jaguar, but I really like the new CGB logo and think the CJF one is better than the old one too. In fact, if the CWolf one would lose a bit of snarl and be a solid eye color, I think it would be better too, and the CSJ one just needs to be grey instead of black.

I wonder what the actual logos will actually look like. So far, these babies are only forum avatars. I hope we will get some faction specific "decals" that we can apply to our giant robots of stompy goodness.

Yes to the opening post. Do you have to have a higher resolution copy of the Wolf picture you made? I would, with your permission, like a copy of it for signature purposes.

Hi Odanan, I've logged in just to like your remake and vote in CoffiNail's poll. I still scorn PGI and won't play that game, but new logos for 1st wave Clans are fugly as hell. Shame on PGI, as usual. I can't force myself to set that JF icon in my profile, hope those morons will listen to clansmen community.

Unfortunately, I don't.
But I think you can manage a signature with this one (signatures are so small).
