I love my Wang but I don't get it out as much as I would like. I hated the Thor in past Mech games I've played, just seemed too squishy. That said I really like the look of the MWO Thor and the minimalist hardpoints aren't a bad thing for my playstyle.

well, I am of mixed emotions on the TWolf. Summoner was always my favorite Clan Heavy, because I am a JJ guy. Original TWolf did not have JJs. So them adding the S is cool, albeit a little irksome to boot. Also, I always ran a very specific loadout on my TWolf that I cannot replicate in MWO, so I am a sad panda.

For MWO I would probably downgrade the torso lasers to small and add a ton of MG ammo. Maybe even remove a DHS, too.

Well, before you believe someone who says his wang is as agile as he says it is, tell him you gotta see it to believe it.

so there you have it. All 6 of us.

0_o I was more "exhorting the readers to be critical of what they read", and less "expressing my orientation or interest in actually inspecting wangs".

I don't know which is worse, having to eat my own words, having to look at all those wangs, or having to live up to my oxymoron of a callsign.
________

Oh and Bishop, that's a nice staggered range Miffed Kitty (some might wonder at the heat/dissipation ratio) - I'm at least sure it's bigger than anyone else's wang. Maybe they won't envy your style, eh?

Heat dissipation is fine, if used correctly. LRMs and LLasers at range produce 34 pts of heat, it has 36 pts dissipation, so can run full speed and shoot. 50 pt potential long range for zero heat, not bad.

Up close, the Mediums add up to 20 heat, and the MG none, and so you got 14-16 heat to play with, conservatively. 32 * whatever combo of other weapons you want.

You can even alpha once without risking an ammo explosion if you stand still. (82 damage for 18 waste heat)

Aha! If anybody knew staggered range they would've done the maths themselves. For the younguns, please understand these are TableTop values.

I understand that with a 14-16 close range heat buffer you can choose between Llas (armor stripping) or cLRMs (crit seeking).

In MW3 I ran the Timberwolf close to stock prime - trading the MGs for 1medpulse for range. I remember alpha'ing into a Shadowcat at 20m, knocking it down, and killing it with another alpha as it was standing up. Of course MW3 seemed to use TT's 40damage=knockdown rule. Something PGI will probably never implement. Paul Inouye also speaks in horror of using CLRMs at close range (possibly to keep lights alive), so I'm looking to having different experiences.

Sometimes I enjoy rolling in 'mechs with simple, brutal weapons configurations. The Summoner goes to that extreme. I'm looking forward to running mine

If your Wang is not eccentric or ostentatious, you are doing it oh so wrong.

Meet Mi Amore Cadenza, Cadance for short. And the Std250 keeps her up all night long!

PS. I'll probably paint my Summoner pink and magenta too. Maybe throw in some vibrant purple for that flair.
