[Sudden]

ok the clans are nearly here. please try and make a big thing of it. release a good 30 sec trailer. have some of the peeps from ngng drop in clans mechs for at least 24hours . or some of the devs woot, I would like to kill 1 0r 2 of them. in short make something of it. not just me heres your mechs

I would like to see them make it a big deal also. It was great, back in the day (haha) with reports of lost jump ships and strange pirates. All before they changed the timeline (the first time)

sadly I do not think PGI has the skill or the willingness to do it. If we are lucky will might get a cheesy youtube vid. like the one with both drop teams charging down one hill to make it look epic.

Actually I am more of a warden anyways so

But regardless, there really needs to be some kind of preview of the clan weapons and if pgi insists that they told us everything we need to know (really? No clan weapon info?) then they should be fine with giving us an action trailer.

Besides I myself being Warden. I would wager that a Warden would not outright try to combat against a Crusader outside of a trial. I have been seeing a lot of posts lately about people calling themselves Warden or Crusader but not actually understanding either side.

Warden and Crusader tend to both be about conquering the Inner Sphere. That in itself was never in question. The only question was time, as in when they will. Crusaders felt it would be better to conquer sooner and rebuild before the 'threat' arrives, where as the Wardens thought it best to bide their time and wait till the threat arrives, then assist in taking it down and after conquer the Inner Sphere to get Terra.

I am sure if offered the chance to take Terra without force as a reward they would but we saw quite well that once the Inner Sphere realized what we wanted they would fight for it.

EDIT: Possible that I am wrong on this, but I thought based on lore and quotes that it seemed given that this was more so the mindset.

Why make a huge deal out of clan mechs when clan mechs are nothing special cos of balancing?

Say what you want about campaigning, but other than rivalry between certain clans I can not find in any of my lore books a point a clan specifically went out of their way to eradicate the opposed cause/belief (Warden or Crusader) outright for that reason alone. Maybe I am missing a point. You did use destroy forces and not eradicate, to me it read as eliminate crusader forces outright to protect the Inner Sphere. (I know playful but I am still trying to see where your stance is coming from.)

It'd be nice if they opened the test server for a massive IS vs Clan battle, pushing beyond the limits of their systems. Even if having a 50 vs 50 crashed them, it would be nifty.
