I cant be the only one who's noticed this. Well I think that the prices for MC are a bit.... much. to say the least, this is just down right lame! I'm 97% sure that PGI will have done SOMETHING about this, but at the same time I cant know for sure without asking. as using the support isn't really an option (at least I don't think it is) Seeing as how this is not a true 'in game issue' I'm posting it here.

According to the link below, (and the video showing that at one point it worked) this hack puts MC and C-bills in your account free. it clames to be untraceable. and I'm not sure. But short of making a dummy account and testing it for myself (which I wont do by the way) there's no telling for sure.

Devs. PLEASE. please PLEASE do something about this if it hasn't been addressed yet.

If this is real then you should probably inform PGI through a support ticket rather than posting it here on the forums for everyone to see.

I've thought of that. but really. if your dumb enough to use it after someone posts it in the fourms then really. you don't have half of two brain cells to rub together. Lol.

Probably better off emailing them here. Support have been very quick and extremely helpful the few times I've spoken to them.

This was debunked by support as an account hijacking scam well over a year ago. But sending a ticket still can`t hurt, maybe they can get the page taken down.

Though IMO, anyone that is even interested in using these tools deserves to lose their account, so there`s that....

Well if you watch the video in the link, you see that it worked at some point. and there are a lot of smart people out there. Machines are fairly easy to fool as well. Still. Should make interesting discussion atleast. Lol

It's a scam, of course it "worked". People are easier to fool, and video editing is nothing new.

Yeah. that's for sure. But with Clan mech's dropping soon, last thing I want is hackers buying tons of Clan weapon's without earning them fairly.

Video can be edited. Easily, By a monkey.

And you can not "fool" a machine, you can merely give it commands it can not properly execute and lock it up, or exploit security flaws. But this is not the machine being "fooled", it is the result of incompetent humans interacting with that machine. Humans which, unlike the machine, are astoundingly easy to decieve, which you ironically just proved to a certain extent with this reply by referencing teh video (of the OLD ui, nonetheless) and how it "worked"

Ever considered that someone EASILY can stop the video, purchase MC, open a new tab, and restart the video, later referencing the new tab as a "refresh"? Apparently not...

The facts:

The video was posted to youtube om march 20th 2013 (all you have to do is click the youtube link tio see this).
It was posted to these forums AND ticketed to support on the same day.
It was debunked as an account stealing scam BY SUPPORT less than a week later, on these forums.

Why you, after being told this in only slightly less detail, now attempt to convince me that a file with the same checksum, downloaded from the same url, is now somehow "new", all because if a video that we all saw last year, I have no clue.
