Yeah I know. I was one of the ones trying to push to get a Marauder in. Having the WHM, and not the MRD was just... sad.
That being said, MWLL is still one of those games I think about fondly. I didn't like many of the final version changes, especially the attempt at free reticle which ended up this simi-free, kinda locked but not thing that doesn't respond quite right.
These days, I just keep clinging to MWO, hoping maybe... just maybe... it'll end up with even half the gameplay of LL. I still thing TC would be a perfect mode for CW matches.

Pros:
Graphics are lovely (and pretty well optimized, better FPS and looks than MWO)
More weapons/equipment
User made maps
Completely 100% free
Aerospace (including hovercraft!)
Tanks + other ground vehicles
I think there are more variety in game modes, cant be sure
GOOD JUMP JETS THAT ACTUALLY WORK.
Maps are huge, tons of fun to manuver around/flank
Ability to put radar on passive
Coolant built into the mechs.
Cons:
The way arms/torso movement is handled, can be glitchy and jumpy
Can't customize mechs, need to use pre-built varients.
Varients aren't super clear on equipment, like speed, amount of armor, etc. Not a big deal, though.
No longer being supported, due to legal action by f*cking PGI
Less players
Fewer mechs, since development was shut down by PGI.
