Too answer your question Starchild is back and what ever happened has been resolved. too address some of the issues.

MWLL wiki is going too be updated with MWLL 0.7.1 data on all assets too help sort that out.

MechLab was 95 % finished but never added but it was going too be restrictive not allowing total freedom like MWO cause that would cause serious balance issues.

tons of assets were nearly finished I.E : Kodiak , Commando , Shrek, MFB , Marauder , More Vtols , Aero space , different size battle armor and more much more.

Less players yes..but growing also yes.

While yes development is halted we are still however allowed too make maps. We have a total of about 136 maps.

we also have configs too sort out the free reticle issues.

Any more questions please visit.

na1.mech-connect.net

Teamspeak 3 servers. ( for the na1.mech-connect.net look for the MWLL recruitment channel.)

Wait a second...so you're saying Mechlab was canned because of a conscious, independent decision by the MWLL devs, and not because PGI clamped down on it?

No the mechlab was not finished in time for the final MWLL 0.7.1 release. It was in final beta stages. I say about 2 more months and it would of been in the game.

I'm sure the message will change as they need it to change.

And Living Legends still looks overall better then MW:O does (minus the AMAZING work of Flyindebris,) with a smaller group and in less time/failed promises/cash grabs.

Still can't believe it's that easy to destroy what should have been so amazing.

MW:LL looks far better in still shots than in game footage... and neither can hold a candle to screen shots or in game footage of MWO. I mean, I don't care how biased you are, making claims like MW:LL being better looking than MWO is just... just nuts. It's a fantastic fan project, but MWO just blows it away visually, across the board.

MWO in closed beta looked really really good but since they reduce the graphics a hell of a lot the game no longer looks as nearly as impressive as its closed Beta form or MWLL. MWLL has the higher lighting , textures, shaders and a few other things. I am not even running the game on max graphics or the highest resolution there are also some tweaks done by a few that brings out even more detail. Side by side as it is now MWLL graphics are far higher then that of MWO if MWO returned too its CB graphics then I would say yes MWO back then was the better looking game. MWO also lacks the old tessellation system which in fact does not even exist in Cryengine 2 yet it was made in such a way that it seemed like it. the engine that MWO runs on has that system in it now , looks worse and works terribly as it now rendering even more then it should with what was already met with the first crysis game. While texture resolution is something MWO has Attention too detail is somthing it falls short. for example.

Posted Image A sand dune.

Posted Image cracked desert lands.

That is detail you will never find in MWO cause of the now added film grains an shoddy filters they have.

Posted Image

This attention too detail is something lacking in MWO it was once their in CB but its been dumbed down big time.

Posted Image

This is just not on that it was like this once. MWO could be more and until it becomes more its def not the game promised those years back.

Forest Colony Night ?

diz iz nyu mep?

I guess the maps got greyed because of the bad map design and they are so friggin small so you can basicly see and shoot everything from everywhere when all colors are used and a decent contrast is given.

Nope, sorry. MWO wins. Hands down, across the board. There's a whole gallery of winning photos. This is just a small sampling of the latest.

It appears clear to me that MWO has the best-looking 'Mechs, but MW:LL has the best looking maps..
