E3 2014 Day1 by PC Gamer

Hyped? Meh? Don't care? Spit it out everyone!


I'll start:

Only two games got me hyped. First, Witcher 3. I got so attached to the Witcher saga I even read all the book, regardless most of them have only fan-translated English versions available. Seeing the other two major protagonists - Ciri and Yennefer - finally making their appearance made me so happy. Not mentioning CDPR as a dev basically runs on love. I mean, they freaking built a game engine from scratch!

Second, Mirror's Edge 2. I have a thing for stylish games, and the first Mirror's Edge was full of it. Besides, the two character artists shown in the interview are pretty ******* cool themselves, and that says something.

Other than that two games got me interested. Call of Duty Advanced Warfare looks pretty swell - FINALLY a CoD that doesn't graphically looks like ****. There aren't enough games featuring jumpjets and exoskeletons, but still I'm more interested in weaponized Kevin Spacey.

Then there's FarCry 4. You would think Vaas from FC3 as an antagonist is pretty hard to beat, and this new guy shown in the trailer almost managed to do that. Also I believe it's the first game set in the great Tibet area, so that should be fun. Probably gonna pick up those two on discount.
