The 4 ERLL can still work, just fire them in groups of 2, no GH and very little lag time between beams

The one to fear would be a brawler Timberwolf S variant with 4 x SSRM 6s. now throw in JJ to that mix and an Active probe....

If the SRMs are better because of that upcoming fix I would want to run something like this. 89 fire power at 89kph

dunno, which mech to try first time out, probably a Summoner. so far without looking thru the 3 variants to switch weapon pods, UAC20, erppc, 2x streak srm6, sounds about right

I still feel the Clan tags should have been left locked till the invasion started.

I also think Clan mechs should drop as a whole team vs IS mechs as a whole team. It might help show glaring balancing issues. Then again, not enough clan mechs will be avail at launch and not enough people will be using them.

It will be a mish mash, and that will feel weird and anti climatic. Community Warfare should have been in place by now. I hate to say it, but I always knocked MW:LL as a mod and nothing more. I am starting to feel like MW:LL is more of a gaming experience than MWO which is just a random grab bag of mechs launching on one map. Mixed houses, clans, and classes with no real objective.

Yea this is nothing new, but I think the clan mechs intermixed will make this problem feel even more glaring. Clans would never fight with IS forces (at least close to the invasion time line), I feel this break immersion more than random IS houses thrown together.

Not entirely sure yet, waiting to see how their no engine, no heat sink and no armor change rules work out for me.

I'd never say MWLL was/is perfect, but my sig is staying there until i feel that MWO is good enough to replace it. ATM i'm not sure that will ever happen :P
I've considered some of the things PGI have done as stupid (ECM?), but it never even occurred to me that they'd put IS and clan on the same side. Nobody would be that stupid.... B)

I think they ran too late on their deadlines, lost too much user base, and and are too short on cash to push the Clan Invasion back any futher. I would imagine they wanted CW in place first, but since it isn't ready and they NEED to generate revenue from the clans, they are launching it now and throwing everything randomly together.

They said we can adjust armor. I am a bit unclear on if we can add armor but that is really only important for the Summoner and Kit Fox.
