I also think Clan mechs should drop as a whole team vs IS mechs as a whole team. It might help show glaring balancing issues. Then again, not enough clan mechs will be avail at launch and not enough people will be using them.
It will be a mish mash, and that will feel weird and anti climatic. Community Warfare should have been in place by now. I hate to say it, but I always knocked MW:LL as a mod and nothing more. I am starting to feel like MW:LL is more of a gaming experience than MWO which is just a random grab bag of mechs launching on one map. Mixed houses, clans, and classes with no real objective.
Yea this is nothing new, but I think the clan mechs intermixed will make this problem feel even more glaring. Clans would never fight with IS forces (at least close to the invasion time line), I feel this break immersion more than random IS houses thrown together.
I'd never say MWLL was/is perfect, but my sig is staying there until i feel that MWO is good enough to replace it. ATM i'm not sure that will ever happen

I've considered some of the things PGI have done as stupid (ECM?), but it never even occurred to me that they'd put IS and clan on the same side. Nobody would be that stupid....
