The only redesign I thought was better was the Jade Falcon's.
I hate the 'werefwolf' style look of the Clan Wolf redesign.
The Ghost Bear redesign's "beady eyes" and upward angled head make it look weak somehow.
I've never liked the Smoke Jag logo but anyhow the redesign looks too "80's Saturday morning cartoon" for my taste.

I like the more "military style" look and simplicity of the original designs especially for Clan Wolf and Ghost Bear.

If they would have used a close copy the Stark family sigil's wolf head (from Game of Thrones) for Clan Wolf I would've been sold the new designs regardless of my extreme dislike for the CGB remake.

As a Wolf fan I have had to vote classic as the new design wolf logo is way worse, but the other 3 are generally better in the new form.

Bear and Falcon are stand-out improvements on the original design and the Jaguar is mostly better, but could do with being in the grey colour scheme of the classic

You absolutely must keep the modern version of the Falcon logo. It's miles ahead of the classic green pigeon.

I see that the majority have voted classic for various reasons. Don't let a group vote overshadow an individual logo's improvement.

Ghost Bear - Modern
Would pop out more if the colour scheme in the classic was followed, ie blues behind each bear arm was used, etc

Falcon - Modern
Falcon looks awesome, not like pigeon-like anymore. But not "jade" colored enough.

Wolf - Classic
Cant beat the classic look, should intensify the red/brown color though to bring it in line with the existing logos.

Jaguar - Modern
But the all black color makes it look flat and like a panther. Add more depth to the jaguar and make it look more shadowy/smoky.

The other two need work.

Namely, make them something in-between the two samples. The "classic" kitten and birdie logos look too cartoonish, while the "modern" are too detailed. Actually, the "modern" Wolf could probably use a tiny bit toning down too.

Aye, the "classic" Bear should be the benchmark, just give it slightly bigger paws.

I am all for the classic logos and voted accordingly, but as many others have pointed out, proposed classic falcon logo looks a bit... like a rushed work. Which is understandable given the circumstances, but i just hope it is not the absolutely-final-variant and some minor tweaks will be applied.
I do understand the situation and i am grateful for the fact of classic redesign itself. But IMHO there is a room for improvement within the boundaries of the classic design conception.
To illustrate my words i made a few variants of what I am talking about. All of them are made completely from scratch using the PGI's logo color-scheme. No parts of preexisting logos were used.

I am not saying they are top-notch or anything. Just that there is a possibility to make a good-looking falcon. If you like them, you are free to use them in whatever way you want, PGI.

Anyway, I just hope that the currently proposed classic redesign will be somehow improved.
Maybe it is too much to ask. But a man can dream.

Still think this should have been a per faction vote. I like the newer Jades' and Jags' much better. Putting me off chosing to display faction icons by using the older. Shame =/
