So have they said if we're going to have to pay GXP to unlock the modules included in the clan packs?

Since they'll also be available for C-Bills and that's how current modules work, I don't see it changing.

As for GXP costs and prices, I figure it'll be 10-15k each or perhaps split into tiers and 6M C-Bills on up depending on the module.

I wonder, though. "Here's this thing you paid for, now pay to use it" is going to sit badly with some people.

I wonder too ... can see it both ways. I mean, as it works currently Purchasing a Module does not Unlock the skill to use that module. So, getting the module in a Pack just saves you from the Cbill cost of getting the module, you still need to spend the GXP to unlock the skill.

Yep. I'm with you, see both sides. If I was PGI, I think I'd unlock them just to save the QQing, but was personally asking it just because I hadn't heard. Have the GXP and no other plans for it, myself.

Either way, hoping this week's sale includes the 1 to 50 GXP Conversion...gotta lotta Mech XP to turn into GXP to unlock those new Clan Mech Efficiencies !

My hunch is by buying the pack, you'll avoid the GXP grind for the modules, but still have to pay the Cbills to actaully use them. Then again since none of them are consumable (I think), maybe they will be completely "free" for the first one.

But that is backwards from the way they currently work ... you spend GXP to unlock a Module Skill without ever having to purchase the module...you use Cbills to purchase equipment (which is already what they are including in some of the Packs) and XP to "learn" the skills...

Honestly, I hope that it comes with at least the first tier skill unlock (if there are multiple tiers to it).

thats funny ****. And oh so ******** at the same time.....

I can see it, we bought the clan mechs so on release day we get access to buy them in game with more MC or Cbills.....just people who havent bought them have no access to them.

currently you can't buy the equipment without unlocking the skill. So I don't think they will be giving you the equipment, unless they are unlocking the skill also. it just says "bonus modules" and I haven't seen anything explaining exactly what you are getting other than a list of the modules that are available. Top tier gets 4 "bonus modules" and Gold gets a 5th it looks like and they have announced 5.

GXP grind? That's a thing? ;)

This never crossed my mind. If it's "you get the unlock, but have to buy the modules" billed as "bonus modules" I'm going to ask for my money back. And maybe uninstall the game. That would be...I...no...just...no...not even.

Hello ------------,
The module should come unlocked with a free copy of the item added to your inventory.

Sent an email to support and got this reply all since my last post (25 minutes), so sorry for possibly making a mountain out of a molehill. When I started the thread, I really was asking, figured somebody had seen even though I hadn't.

PGI's support, who I've now had about ten interactions with, is always great.
