Just a thought~ why not let everyone test drive the clan mechs rather than just the people who pre-ordered? Been on the fence on this for a long time, and the opportunity to try before I buy might just make a sale.

Great, finally a public test event which I can attend (when I first saw this article I guessed it would only be the usual 2 hours) even if only for the hour between getting home from an weekly evening out and going to bed.

however would have been smarter to allow people who have yet to purchase the Clan Collection to try them, this could easily have got PGI/IGP more sales

So apparently, the test Server is in the outer Periphery

Thank you.. this is an excellent idea both as an "event" and as a testing scheme (wish the other PTs were a similar format, but I understand the reasons for the current scheme). This way we get to see if the warhorns are as annoying as many expect, and adequately test whether you got the balance right or at least in the ballpark with the new mechanicd and such..

With the added perk of being able to test drive our Omnis half a week early.... so we get to see what works and what doesn`t, becore being unleashed on the general public.


Kinda fits to the lore, too.. nobody knew what was going on in the beginning (just like, statiscilly, most of the community on and off the forums won`t be part of the PT so they don`t know.) , and suddenly these ubermechs start walking in Roflstomping everything in sight. even when outnumbered.

While I don`t necessarily expect the latter, having the chance to test beforehand will allow us to have more finely tuned (=more effective) loadouts on Tuesday, and maybe at least partly give some of the more devout and courageous spheroids like Bishop Steiner the Boogeyman they always wanted to fight
