it's ok for a Medium, but i'll take a Catapult any day, extra medium laser, jump jets as standard and more armour.

Well, he's a lt smaller, faster and has a variant that makes it a cheap Vindicator (PPC, AC and something else).

Excellent choice. With the Catapult filling the "heavy support" role, the Trebuchet will make an excellent missile boat for the medium bracket. I may not play one, but I'll be glad to see 'em ingame.

What a great strike mech. Drop an lrm. change the mls to mpls and rip havoc on all those pesky commandos, jenners..

Man, your design team certainly has vision! I must say, I can't look at the original design for a trebuchet and come up with a masterpiece such as this! I can't really say that you've designed a [an aesthetically] hated mech design such as this before now, but feel free to choose any mechs in the future. The most ugly of ugly.
