I live in that circle, and will be watching the opening game at 4 am then going to sleep for 6 hrs, wakeup at noon and playtest clans for 4 hrs.

See, the western world doesn't really care. It's a sport.
You're concerned about a game, which was based on a tabletop game, interfering with your sports time?
I mean, I totally get that a person can be a geek and can be sports fan too... but sometimes, you have to pick bro. What's more important? Your sweaty dudes kicking a ball around, or giant stompy robots and the first look at clan mechs?
Priority's man...priority's.

Your going to be hard pressed to find any Americans caring much about Soccer....now if it was the Super Bowl....then you might have an argument.
Because everyone who plays this game is American.
Because America doesn't have 53 million citizens of hispanic descent, most of which are going to be watching the game.
Stop being an ignorant ethnocentric silly person.

Unrelated question : what´s a TV ? Can it do what my PC can do ? No? Then I don´t need it
Eh, all of you should be grown up enough to decide where your priorities are, shouldn´t you ?
So Mechs it will be, leave soccer to itself (mostly because we can´t participate with mechs, but that´d be another train of thought)
2€cents
This, just made my night.
I can just imagine all the kicks and passes that would either phase through the players, or suddenly they end up an extra 20m down the field with the ball.

I'm not judging, but whatever games you and Robert play should really be kept between you and Robert.

Have you ever watched soccer? I'm fairly certain you wouldn't be able to notice the difference.

I think I've watched Soccer once. Some guy threw a paper plane and it hit some other guy in the head. I think it was on Youtube. That was Soccer, right? I've seen it played in MWO too. It's when all the mediums and heavies race after the Locust. Reminds me of the games of Soccer I played in Primary.

another reason for PGI to design a urban mech, you won't need to squeeze it into anything.
