Greetings!

Please tell us your thoughts on the C-LB5-X AC ballistic weapon system!

Spread remains fairly tight, even at longer ranges. I'm liking it.

I find this weapon pretty underwhelming for the tonnage. The spread was much tighter, but I feel low caliber LB-X's could really use a rate of fire increase.

Spread felt reasonable but could be tighter. For the same tonnage, I'm putting my money on cAC5 every time. Needs to be able to hit a light mech with most/all of its pellets at the end of its range bracket, currently can't come close. Better than the LB10-X however. Aside from this and the LB20-X, clan LB's are a complete waste, and this can easily be largely fixed by appropriate spread + projectile speed. Even still, they are outright subpar compared to cAC's of all kinds.

I tried twin LB5-X build on a Summoner, and it felt great. The spread is tight and the rate of fire is good. I think they are good enough now, and need no further balancing.

I fully agree. Its an awesome weapon to run when you got 2 ballistics and want to sync them rather than have 1 LB10 on a side torso. The Kit Fox was a good hunter with it! Took the Kit Fox stock and it was a good assassin, killing people from behind with the LB5 and its lasers.
