Please do not forget the Awesome! That one really needs attention.

With clans arriving i find that the Atlas is for his tonnage and speed is vastly underarmored. (and ofcourse the hitboxes changes) I am talking about the Center Torso(CT). You can twist what you want; spreading the damage to arms and more which is a decent playstyle, but in my eyes i still find that the CT needs more armor points to bring it more in balance with the other line up.

What's your opinion? Discuss!

It has the same CT armor as a Direwolf, and more than any other mech.

*shrugs* And the problem is?

What shrug? What about hardpoints. Did you bother looking at that?

I still find the Atlas needs more points regarding that matter.

The shrug, because you were talking specifically about armor, not hardpoints. The Atlas has exactly the amount of armor it should, given it's tonnage.

As to hardpoints... Well, they're set mostly relative to the mech's loadouts in the source material. There's some hardpoint multiplication in cases of large weapons, but there's not really much that can be done to the Atlas without making it something else entirely.

I think the Atlas is fine as-is, it has all the armor it's supposed to and it's not meant to boat weapons (like a Banshee can do) so it's hardpoints are also fine. ;)

Ah. Sorry for not mentioning it. I still believe the Atlas could use a buff.

How bout no? Let's not go around asking for mechs to be buffed. Clan tech is already nerfed in a ton of ways to maintain balance, and clan mechs are just as killable as IS mechs with IS weapons as is. Let's not go overboard with the ridiculous before the clans are even in the live client.
