Can you add a thread for Clan Artemis, seems like you'd want some feedback on it since it didn't seem to work properly at all. I didn't see it in the upgrade section last time and I don't see it again.

I sent the message to him on Thursday. He died in a game I was in so fast and disconnected I didn't get a chance to tell him.

From my last understanding, Clans don't get Artemis? I could be wrong though, but I'm fairly certain Artemis is an IS upgrade only. (It's basically already built into clan LRMs from my understanding.)

They do. I equipped it on Thursday.

See. I missed the testing of the clans. I might be able to jump in Sunday though after work... (I want to check out my Ryoken! Not that I actually own one yet... No money for preorder. Otherwise I'd think about it.)

can't run one without a package, unfortunately.

I know many people who ordered the package before Thursday, planning to refund it it, Friday. Funnily, a lot of them ended up not refunding it, lol.

Hum... I thought I could "try one out"... Oh well. I can still kick clan butt then. (Think I'll see a ryoken in action? From what I heard, it wasn't being an overly popular mech choice. If you ran one, what did you think of it?)

I did not run one, but saw dozens of them, all the time. Every Mod and Dev seemed to be running one. I heard it had torso pitch issues, but was otherwise pretty well received.

It's good to play on the PTS so you can get a general idea. I had purchased a Kit Fox after the cut off, so my first 5 or 6 games were in my Ember. Gave me a good understanding of the Clan mechs.

Yeah I saw a bunch too. I thought the Mediums were pretty nasty. Same with the Heavy mechs. Lights and Assaults were just ok.

I ran a Stormcrow almost exclusively. It , as well as the Vulture, are 2 'mechs I've been waiting for for a long time.


It's a vicious 'mech, but as with all 'mechs it comes down to the pilot. So I died quickly and often

This is incorrect. Clan ATM launchers have inbuilt Artemis, but standard LRM or SRMs most assuredly do not. Clan ATM systems also don't fire LRM or SRM ammo to begin with, but have three different ranged missiles, HE is shortest range, highest damage (3 per missile), Standard is 2 per, ER are super-ranged 1 damage per missile, with standard/ER both having a 120m minimum range.
