Yep, our Estimated Mercenary Number is still pointing at 36 for Armageddon Unlimited, and I'm about to induct number 49; just wanted to let you know, Hawkeye. Thank you for this work you've done.

GREAT POST!!!

You guys are doing some good work here. Good job!

I am glad to see this. PGI probably just became profitable to be honest, and over a million before the game has even launched to a 10 year old IP game. It shows not only the excitment and support of this community, but the expectation and hope people are putting in PGI and MWO.

Awesome seeing so many people getting Legendary, but why? Sure you get the 4 mechs, that's the only advantage. You get a better bang for your buck at $60. Seems silly, but you get $55 worth of extras at a $60 investment and only $50 at $120 investment. 192% return for $60, 140% for a $120 investment (and for $30 we get 166%). So basically they're willing to do LESS for you at $120 than they are for $30. Can we reevaluate the bonuses here? I would love to toss in for $120 but the numbers just aren't in it for me. I might still do it for the mechs and to support the game, but I'm having a hard time here. Obviously no one else is having this problem though.

actually, i would have to agree, the value you get for 120$ seems underwhelming compared to the 60$ package, somehow it just doesn't add up for me.

wouldn't mind if they redo legendary and add a little more to it...

I'd like to include The Independent Merc Corp. Our numbers can be found at our HQ site.

Thanks for doing this - really interesting to see all those numbers in pie charts.

Mmm, pie charts.

I am now more painfully aware of my small post count.

Well, time to fix that.

Excellent. SO, since they are inviting Founders into the Beta, and there are approximately 10,000 founders, (and counting, admittedly) that's...

carry the 1, divide by zero...

A LOT better odds at getting into the beta compared to the 100,000+ members before!

Nice.

Over a million bucks before the game is even out... Those are some crazy numbers.

Woo, Capellan Confederation... still the underdogs!

(I wonder if there's going to be some mechanic to account for numerical imbalance, or we're just going to take it up the #%! like in canon?)

Hopefully, that ends up translating to 'breathing space to push back launch if they need it'.

I'm surprised how topheavy the purchasing appears to be.

This was my transaction number (as of yesterday): IGP Transaction ID: 38257
I try to do the maths: I keep the ratio of the 27/6/12 stats: 11.022 = 100%
388 Veterans were 3.52%
3927 Elites were 35.62%
6707 Legendaries were 60.85%

3.52% of 38.257 = 1347 Veterans * 30$ = 40.410$
35.62% of 38.257 = 13.627 Elites * 60$ = 817.620$
60.85% of 38.257 = 23.279 Legendaries * 120$ = 2.793.480$
Altogether = 3.651.510$

Remember, that's under the premise a) the sales ID is serially numbered and started b ) with 0

One of the Devs already stated that the number is not linear.
