You guys are doing some good work here. Good job!
I am glad to see this. PGI probably just became profitable to be honest, and over a million before the game has even launched to a 10 year old IP game. It shows not only the excitment and support of this community, but the expectation and hope people are putting in PGI and MWO.

actually, i would have to agree, the value you get for 120$ seems underwhelming compared to the 60$ package, somehow it just doesn't add up for me.
wouldn't mind if they redo legendary and add a little more to it...

carry the 1, divide by zero...
A LOT better odds at getting into the beta compared to the 100,000+ members before!
Nice.

(I wonder if there's going to be some mechanic to account for numerical imbalance, or we're just going to take it up the #%! like in canon?)

Hopefully, that ends up translating to 'breathing space to push back launch if they need it'.
I'm surprised how topheavy the purchasing appears to be.

I try to do the maths: I keep the ratio of the 27/6/12 stats: 11.022 = 100%
388 Veterans were 3.52%
3927 Elites were 35.62%
6707 Legendaries were 60.85%
3.52% of 38.257 = 1347 Veterans * 30$ = 40.410$
35.62% of 38.257 = 13.627 Elites * 60$ = 817.620$
60.85% of 38.257 = 23.279 Legendaries * 120$ = 2.793.480$
Altogether = 3.651.510$
Remember, that's under the premise a) the sales ID is serially numbered and started b ) with 0

One of the Devs already stated that the number is not linear.
