sorry if that sounds pessimistic, but XP and $$ bonuses sound like an unbalance to the game right from the start.
I would have paid for the "founder" status and skins. The bonuses are upsetting.
For anyone of this mindset, I recommend watching this Penny Arcade video.

You may not agree with it, but it lays out a decent case for bonus xp NOT being pay-to-win.
If you would still like to chat about it, I'm sure there are threads on the topic. I would like to see a reasonable explanation of why +50% xp / C-bills = P2W

"sniff" I'm seeing my chance to get in beta melt as fast as a Particle Projectile Cannon hitting a Jenner in the back.

Graphically no, buuuut I ran the numbers and let's just say that the revenue based off of forum profiles is up from around $610,000 to just under $750,000
So they just tacked on another 100K since yesterday

Does anyone know what the Player-Numbers for WoT are? That game seems to be profitable for the company, their numbers are something MWO should aim for.
Edit: Why so much hate against Comstar? They are the only light in times of darkness.
I believe there are on the order of 150,000 to 200,000 REGISTERED users, of that about 50% play, and of that 50% that play, only about 20% play regularly. Whenever I'm online the user count is anywhere from 15-20K users in game. I've NEVER seen it get anywhere close to 30K online, so I'm hoping this game meets my expectations (which it should, my "wants" in the game are fairly basic/easily accomplished), because if it does, MWO just got a cash cow. Seriously. I dropped $50 last night to get a new premium tank I've been wanting for a while, and I DON'T EVEN WANT TO KNOW how much I've spent in WoT over the last year. 90% of that money will come here if the game is good enough for me.

Also, as that's just forum members, I noted in another post some "transaction ID #'s" that were over 15k (and appeared to be sequential throughout the day). And that was early PM yesterday... So, yeah, gratz Piranha. n1!

Either Russ or Bryan said last night that those numbers aren't sequential. However I too would like to see the full number of registered users. My numbers are for forum members only, as that is the only data I can easily access.

Don't forget RU servers, which can peak at 400 000 online combined.
So, MWO will have something to strive for.

I believe you can't buy Founders pack without registering game/forum account?
Impressive numbers anyway

Naaaaa he will do it...Tomorrow
Awesome charts as always, nice to see PGI getting some money, it cannot hurt the game's development, that's for sure, and maybe even accelerate the EU servers arrival if we're lucky !
Now if we could just have a word from the 2 ACTUAL female from this forum, that would be just lovely
My wife wont post anything.
