Touche. I don't really think this problem is one-sided however. You have all sorts of gold diggers and girls with daddy issues as well. Ain't much better than the average creep from what I've experienced. Bad examples really tend to stick given enough of them and stereotypes exist for a reason. Denial and pointing with fingers at others won't change that. Just sayin'.
Growing a thicker skin is obviously out of the question since we are all entitled to our own opinion and don't need to see the other side of the argument. So long.

Ah, so it's their fault? Got it.

You're not really making a great case. Without even getting into the issues with using stereotypes to justify oppression, whether or not said stereotypes actually exist in large numbers and the hints of oppression within the stereotypes themselves (due to less career mobility women have historically been forced to find a man to provide for her; the extremes of our societies gender divide and the percevied negatives associated with having a female child leading to intense emotional distance between girls and their father figures), let's just take them as a given.

In this scenario there are a large number of women who display unreasonable behaviour while playing games. This results in a large amount of rightful hostility to female gamers on the presumption that they'll be annoyingly female. Women are then mostly silent and in the backround of most gaming communities. If this is justified, am I then justified in hounding any obviously male player for all the douch bag things I've encountered in the male players I've had the misfortune of meeting? Or would I be an unreasonable *******? Think about that, why don't you.

And for the record telling people to grow a thicker skin screams of speaking from privilege. I'd love if we could have an accurate count of women involved in this game, it would probably enlignten some of the smaller minded people on these forums.

Decided since Hawkeye was tracking it I should move myself from the "zero post luker" status to 1 post :)

Who could know that for sure? Do you take every 'story' at face value in this regard?

You gotta be kiddin'. I wasn't telling anybody to do anything, seriously. It was pure sarcasm served on a gold rimmed plate if you can't tell. And if you look close enough you may even detect traces of irony, just like your last remark B)
Where is that vaunted female ability to play word games, if I may ask?

1% seems about right, going by the lack of witty retorts. Yes, I'm being mean on purpose here, if you can't tell. Just don't take it overly serious ;P

Havn't been a member for so long and I don't post to much either atm.
I might side with the smallest faction when the game goes live. I like it rough.

Im shocked the number of Legendary founders outnumber the Elite.

Also if they do another round of 500 invites I now know my realistic chances...

If you're calculating the bronies maybe calculate the goons while you're at it? =P

Agreed. Thanks for the datamining, OP. Very interesting stuff.

This community is pretty impressive, by the way. After not following this game's development since I stumbled upon that first trailer on youtube many months ago, coming in here and finding the many stickied posts, helpful links to wikis and sarna.net, and even a pdf primer(!), I have gotten up to speed over a few days. So, thanks! And of course, I can't wait for the game.
