REALLY good to see the house numbers balance out a bit. It's super lame when everyone chooses either the hegemonic westerners or the bushido weeaboos.

It's not entirely surprising people don't feel represented by the entirely personality-less FWL. I am, however, surprised Liao is doing so badly. Maybe it's the thought of following the orders of utter maniacs.

I used to play several cannon merc groups in the table top game and since i wasn't allowed to pick any of them i went with davion for now because that's who most of them worked for
tbh the descriptions of the factions on this website might have something to do with it too. I picked Caldari in Eve based solely on the brief description on the Eve "choose your faction" page and that was far and away the most popular group in the game, mostly because the Gallente and Minmatar descriptions sucked so no one wanted to go that route since no one knows anything about the game when they go to sign up
the description of Liao on this site makes them sound better than I remember them from past iterations of BT, and the Marik one makes them sound worse than I remember, so it could easily be something along those lines

Hanse Davion comes across as rational to you? Maybe in comparison to that psycho *****, but Hanse Davion is no less crooked and power hungry than the Liao dynasty - he just goes about his business in more subversive ways.
That being said, he's quite the charismatic leader and why they get my vote.

sorry if that sounds pessimistic, but XP and $$ bonuses sound like an unbalance to the game right from the start.
I would have paid for the "founder" status and skins. The bonuses are upsetting.
It's not pay to win , it just means that your progression may be faster, however it will depend on the overall upgrades and how the matchmaker works , (the team will decide an outcome, individual players just add to the overall effort).
You have to remember that all games need some kind of business model. Pay to win would come into effect if they had mechs that you paid for with real cash that were overpowered Or special ammo for real cash, or mods that were overpowered.

Which is interesting, considering that 14 days ago, Hawkeye scanned just 16,009 Founders.
In light of this, an update of the stats would be very interesting to see indeed!
