I've kept count. Counting the ones that will get sent out later today, there have been 18,200 Founder Invites so far.

Which is interesting, considering that 14 days ago, Hawkeye scanned just 16,009 Founders.

In light of this, an update of the stats would be very interesting to see indeed!

I would assume that, to cover all their testing needs, they're also still grabbing non-Founders as well.

russ seemed to indicate the exact opposite on twitter. who knows. I would presume they are not advertising that they are offering beta's to people who have ponied up cash even if they are doing just that.

good will and all...

I hope somebody monitors beta invites - now topics about invite rounds are deleted from the Announcements forum as soon as the next round comes. How soon would devs run out of Founders to invite in beta? Though game will be over at August 7 anyway... Too bad I'll be away from my PC from 4th to 14th...

sorry for double post

russ seemed to indicate on twitter that we will reach that point very very soon.

PS : these stats are as of 7-11 and forum cat demands mawr. data. pleez.

Know this...the extra delay in updated statistics is for good reasons. I have been working behind the scenes to develop something really cool that should provide you with constant statistics at your demand. If it is not going to be ready in a week and a half, I will update the stats this weekend.

I love the faction statistics, but it would be great to know how exactly will be the system implemented to the game itself in order to make anything of this numbers.

I'm impressed that they released the numbers of sales, I like it. Transparency, stomp out the doubters and trolls.

They didn't release the numbers (or if they did, that's not what these statistics are compiled from). They're data-mined.

Well, yeah. That said, I think Russ confirmed somewhere that you can at least say you're in the beta or not by now ;).

Anyhoo, Looking forward to your upcoming update as always Hawkeye. Your services in undermining Comstar's actions are greatly valued.

From what I've heard his computer has crashed and he is using a backup. I'm hoping the data has not been lost.

What BFett said. I don't remember what he told me about getting back up and running, but he said as soon as he's able the stats will be even better than ever. Which reminds me... @ Hawkeye... 67 now, hehe. The finest quality people I've ever had the honor to lead, each one of them are fantastic, and act mostly as gentlemen, and good friends. So, we're building it slowly, but we're building it right. My recruitment team (SGT Unther, Macheiron, and Serpentine) are second-to-none. We're going to start focusing on 3rd Battalion, Recon, we are still focused on building our regional detachments after that, and it wouldn't hurt to have some women sign on, perhaps keep these guys gentlemen, hehe.

Sad news. I hope that his data is still intact. I had been looking forward to learning more about what the community was up to. He does great work and was looking forward to what else was in store.

You guys didn't miss anything. My laptop suffered an unknown failure where it would power down and reboot at a progressively faster rate. I was able to recover all my data from it, however it became unusable. I started with a virus sweep, which then progressed further onto defragmenting the harddrive, system restore, registry cleaning, system recovery, and then a total harddrive wipe. None of these worked as I couldn't recover the system or reinstall the software without the laptop powering down in the process. I originally thought this was a software issue, as I could boot to safe mode with networking and operate relatively alright. However eventually safe mode failed to load up itself. I removed one harddrive and wiped the other and tried to reinstall that way, but the system still powered down, which led me to believe it was a hardware failure that as of the moment I am unable to identify.

So, I have been computer hunting/shopping for a bit now. The laptop semi-death has led to a failure on updating statistics too (that and the beta playing-since I might be allowed to say that?).

I am back at school now, where I have a lot more resources at my disposal. Once I get moved into my apartment expect the statistics to come up fast. I have been extremely frustrated at my inability to continue this over the last month+, but **** happens.

My sincerest apologies for the delay. The statistics will return though (hopefully sooner than later!)

If your PC is powering down randomly against your will, it is usually due to a heat problem. If your CPU or GPU is overheating they will typically tell the PC to shutdown to prevent them from frying themselves into destruction. I would check your temperatures or cooling. You could have an internal fan that died which is now why something may no longer be getting cooled.
