Make sure your video drivers are up to date, go into the game's video options and turn down Post Processing as far as you can.

I've had the same problem. what I do is Control Alt Delete and then start the task manager, then click right back on MWO (because I play in Full screen) and this fixes the problem about 98% of the time. strange thing is, my ping goes up down and sideways when it happens. it never happens any other time so I'm inclined to believe that it's just a server glitch that's quirking the client.

Yay for MWO! After updating to the newest (non-beta) nvidia drivers, I get the screenfreezes in every match! Hell ******* yes! Sometimes, when I am lucky only after I get shot down and spectate, but most of the time it is my cause of death.

Nvidia really messed their last drivers up, they have a beta out that fixed it mostly but a rollback is probably better imo. I tried playing Skyrim and Fallout with them too and the stuttering was crazy.

Thank you for the information
Damn, there used to be a time when Nvidia drivers were better than AMD drivers... Next card is probably not going to be Nvidia.
