I would hate to see what is required to run 4k if that system can;t do it. Running the same processor myself and that video card is one of the most powerful out there maybe the new nvidia 900 series that is coming out. I have a friend in my unit I will ask him what he is running he has a 6 screen system so I will find out what he has and post if I can get intouch with him will be a few days though.

Even with the pain that is navigating UI 2.0 across three screens, there is no way I'd go back to a single screen during game-play.

I think this build is lacking some firepower, you might want to add some ERLL and maybe a Gauss, then it might be a viable build... ...of course heat is always an issue, so would suggest adding more cooling.

Got the answer from my friend on what he is running here it is as far a gpu.

twin x ASUS HD7970-DC2 overclocked to 925.
Each card can run six monitors
