Interesting, but actually, you should have made this a bit different, so the badges now showing the mech, or the devoted star or the Foudners Symbol stuff should be 1 thing someone can chose from.

And below that, as the strips and stars of the clanners badges should show ALL the packages someone has.

So someone having a clanners pack and a phoenix and a foudners, would have 3 different of these stripes. And for each future package, he would get another one.

This way people would have the possibility to show their most liked badge/medallion in a big picture and still show all the packages they have by the stripes.

tbh, I would have prefered a standard mech badge in a golden color showing the mech you bought in gold instead just one badge for all gold buyers. But its ok ^^ can't have everything

My badges seem broken. I am not sure what the instructions are trying to say exactly, but all I could do was select my overload badge, and There is another area that just says: No Badge with a button that says Remove.

If I click the remove it tells me:

There was a problem with your input, please try again.

@Belorion

I just went to https://mwomercs.com/profile/badges and clicked "Select" on one of them.
It defaulted to "No badge", in other words, that button is saying "Show no badge" i.e. remove badge from display (which was already your default setting after this update).

Side note: not sure what browser you are using, but definitely use FF, Chrome or any other standards-compliant (not Internet Explorer), IE always prone to issues dealing w/ latest javascript & HTML 5 web standards (that IE does not adhere to).

It looks like they limited the amount of badges you can display at one time to only 2. I am glad they did this or it would turn the forums into a game of "my wallet is bigger than yours". This way you can show the 2 badges that you like the most and not end up with a forum badge that takes up half a page. Also, it keeps people who can afford every package that comes along (especially those guys who bought the Gold Mech packages) from getting too big of an inflated ego. Besides, we all know that the only badges that really matter are the ones that say Founder on them anyways.

I can't change my badge. Least not with the link given.

N/m. After about 9 tries now it works (not counting the tries over the past few hours).

Do the Gold package buyers get a distinct in-game badge like the phoenix package buyers got?

What about in-game tag like one from Pheonix?
There should be one for Clans per each package!

Masakari badge is a bit plain for $240!

Also, shame we have to chose between phoenix/badge. Cant they be smaller so you can have a full collection?

I like how some of these new players plop down $500.00 a gold Mech and they are upset they don't get enough recognition. You get to play a shiny gold "hey everybody look at me I'm special" Mech in game. Isn't that enough for you? Also, paying that much money for a gold Mech doesn't mean you are some ultimate MechWarrior or something, it just means you have way too much disposable income. Be happy with your tiny forum badge, in 10 years who is going to remember it anyway?
