You did, its a reference to the issue Phelen Kell's computer had trying to identify a timberwolf by its profile, swapping back and forth between marauder and catapult; hence how MadCat was dubbed.

That was an excellent video for the day before Clan launch. Perfect ending, by the way, with one of the most iconic moments in Battletech History and Canon. It is amazing for immersion, which I think is something we all love and like to see as much as possible.

Now I look forward to taking my Clan salvage and start using it against them.

I seem to remember a huge art thread where players wanted to concept the Marauder. I don't see the harm in using one of those! (while rewarding the player who concepted it).

To be frank, I am not sure what is stopping them from using the reseen version of the Marauder's artwork. I know special permissions were obtained for the OTHER unseens because they were not Harmony Gold properties, but a lot of us need a Marauder, Warhammer, or Rifleman by now at some point. I mean, the reseens for many of these designs aren't terrible, and you have the (nigh-)infallible Alex Iglasias working with you. What could possibly go wrong?
