Going to be at work, so all systems should be nominal by the time I get on MWO.

In regards to the requests for PGI to come in at 4am to upload the patch for players.... I gotta wonder, how happy would the person asking be if their boss made them come into work 6 hours early?

Personally, I can barely get my arse into work at the normal time. Cut my sleep by 4 or more hours and I'm useless all day. If they ever do an early morning patch, I'd be afraid some half sleep tech will spill coffee on the server...

Well if people care about the game they are making at all I am sure doing an hour or two overtime before their normal shift for something as large as the clan invasion (The biggest thing this game will ever have that is not the introduction of CW) would not be too much to ask?

Quit crying ya all. Oceania people have to wait till 18th of June 2014, 6AM in the morning and guess what? Those who have to work will have that ****** feel for the whole day's work. So suck it up you EU self entitled ******. They have a job to do and unless you want to join their company and having midnight shift just to satisfy people of a certain timezone. You are welcome to have a cup of STFU and wait like everyone else.

If you're so many go take a plane to California just so you "save" a day... Jesus.

Well aren't you likeable?

EU servers are not an impossible wish, they've been talked about for years. Telling a (probably pretty large) number of players to "stfu" isn't actually...well...nice? Intelligent? Likeable? Diplomatic? According to grown up human conduct?

I advise you to a sip of your own beverage and a career in customer relations. You're made for it, buddy.

According to Karl Berg, they added support for regional servers a couple months ago. If the game grows enough to support regional servers, it's something they can probably spin up pretty quick.

We'll soon know if it's going to be PAY to WIN, maybe not.

I hope the Surrounding things will make the Game bigger and better finally.

I'd like to remind everyone that this is an international game. On patch days it can't be avoided that someone is getting the short stick.

Please refrain from insulting each other based on nationality, just because you are either blessed with being able to play after the patching or because you are angry that you can't. Both is unacceptable behavior and you should feel ashamed if you believe you somehow have the right to resort to such uncivilized conduct.

Remember, that at the end of the day, we are all just simple players in a game, that we can luckily play with our friends all over the world.

French Canadians are still fair game though, right? I mean, there has to be an exception to every rule... :D

After the extended maintenance will there be a staggered entrance like during the PTS? Or going to try to cram us all in at once as all the clan purchasers redeem there new toys? And for my usual whenever there is anything happening.. give everyone a free a of premium time for the long patch? :D

To those in the community upset over the time of this patch's execution, I pose a single question: You've waited this long for the clans, what's one more overnight?

Slightly annoyed that its gonna be 10pm (UK BST) if all goes well with the maintenance window & patch. That will give me 30 mins playtime before gotta sleep ready for work at 5.30am.

This is a particularly long awaited update and I do feel they should have put a few more hours into the day to patch earlier so we EU customers can have a few hours playtime before bed!!! Like somebody else mentioned ESO & a few other MMO`s managed it.

I could ofc pull a sickie but then how am I going to buy all those extra Clan mechs :D

Anyone who wants to hang out and chat should head over to MWO lobby during the maintenance time

https://mwolobby.com

In fact, you should go there even when there is no maintenance :D

Shouldn't the servers be offline since about half an hour ago? Am I ******* up my time-zone conversions again?

Edit: Just noticed I indeed did. Well ****. Seems like I'll take a nap for 4-5 hours then.
And PGI: I would be really, really glad if you included GMT in your Announcement schedule. I fail my basic math check every damn time.

Just a reminder:

Preorder today, June 17th, before 10AM PDT: Receive your Clan Collections with the patch, including pre-order bonus social rewards.

Order after 10AM PDT today: Receive your Clan Collection in the next possible delivery injection, which will occur daily at 4PM PDT.

So no chance you'll just give out a clan pack in good faith? *puppydog eyes*

Thanks Niko, that's much less ambiguous. Was afraid pre-orders would be staggered or something over the week.

LMAO at how entitled some of my fellow europeans are. But the insults getting tossed around show us just how far the depths of humanity go down when it comes to being an idiot for no acceptable reason. Some of you might as well start screaming "White Power", "Kill all the white men" or similarly idiotic things.

In case you haven`t realized it yet, there are 24 different timezones on Earth (If you`re playing from the ISS; GTF back to work already  ), with both land masses and players in each and every one of them. It doesn`t matter when they patch, it will ALWAYS "screw" somebody. And those people will always whine on the forums.

So it makes FINANCIAL sense for them to just have a normal workday instead of paying overtime and night shift bonus just to appease one set of whiners while pissing off another, providing no net benefit to anyone but a net loss to PGI.

I can`t play either, but do you see me whining about it? Get a grip and /or get a life. :D

Besides the time zones that everybody keeps mentioning there is also the whole fact that not everybody works a day shift. I'm sure some people in Europe have no problem with this patch because they might not even get home from work till 10pm their time. Without regional servers and without everybody in the world working days there is no way they can make everybody happy, so why not keep themselves happy and patch at a time that is good for them.

And do they run their servers or is it another company? Maybe the company that handles the physical servers doesn't open till then and if PGI have issues they wouldn't be able to contact them till then.

All is good , take a breath calm down and relax . Wait for the pacth then hopefully we will have good feedback and not complaining like I read in other forums. I do not post often but I am tired of kids whining , so lets just wait and see what happens .
