Attention: Mech Pilots with Slot Violations

Confirmation of Sniper 69's great post.

Tested on both my BLR-1S and STK-5M

Both mechs:
Pulled up with SLOT VIOLTION
Opened under Configure
Force stripped by Mechlab
No inventory of parts stripped shows, and none can be added back in without repurchase.

HOWEVER.....
While the mech is till open, hit the "Strip Mech"
You then need to check both the "Strip All Equipment" and "Strip All Modules" then OK this.
Save the mech configuration.

All "missing" parts and modules are now in inventory and available!

Rebuild the mech.
Just realize that the mech might have to change since a missing critical slot is now taken up.

Thank you Sniper 69 for mentioning this.
This fix has been confirmed!

anyone else tried that?

I have a better and even simpler fix: PGI just remove the completely unnecessary actuators they put in and we can all stop thinking about this maliciously suspiciously timed crit slot nerf.

Hey guys!

To anyone that noticed this, I'd like to check a few things :D

When you noticed that the items had disappeared from your inventory, had you saved your Mech and closed its configuration?

I had a Mech that was affected by this myself (A battlemaster no less) and when I went to get it stripped, the items didn't immediately appear in my inventory. However, after saving my empty 'Mech and looking at my inventory from the Home menu, I saw that my inventory had been updated accordingly.

This is my Battlermaster's build

This is my inventory prior to the Battlemaster being forcefully stripped

This is my inventory after the Battlemaster was forcefully stripped and I saved the empty Mech

As you can see, the inventory correctly recorded everything that was taken away from my Battlemaster.

If you are worried about your Mech, simply do what I did ;) Taking those three screenshot will allow you to compare properly and if there are issues, you'll be able to send a ticket to support with concrete proof.

For those that have already stripped their Mech, make sure to properly inspect your inventory after you saved your Mech.

As for the fact that the inventory doesn't immediately get updated as soon as the Mech is forcefully stripped, that'll get reported so thanks for that! ^_^

Good day!

Thank you a lot! Will try that in a few hours.
