No. You pay for the smallest you get the least amount available. Which in this case doesn't and shouldn't include a mech. $60 is the normal price of any game now a days that includes some sort of a decent bonus. If you can't afford the $60 you probably shouldn't be playing the game anyways, your money probably needs to go to bills.

So, you can't afford/don't want to spend $60, so you shouldn't play a F2P game? I fail to see the logic here...

maybe they paid their bills and are using the little expendable money they have to invest in a game and give the developers some credit. apparently you have enough money to buy a legendary pack, obviously signifying you have lots and lots of money. how about share the wealth? dont tell people what to do with their money. you dont know the circumstances.

I personally think it should be set up as one mech for Veteran, two for Elite, and all for Legendary. I feel like the 1,2,4 approach might attract more people since people who don't want to spend $60 but don't think the $30 is worth it might change their minds at at least fork over for the veteran pack.

Hell I only wanted a catapult but 3 other mechs for $60 sounded all right to me.

Only wanted 2 but I couldn't agree more.

60 bucks, love you long time! No but really, I'm going to take a leap of faith and invest now. The way I see it is that if the game is decent and keeps my arse entertained for around a year, then it's worth it. Donate some money for the programmers...to buy some deodorant to keep them fresh for those longs nights at work.

If there was a negative rating system for this post I would of done it because you used share the wealth political slogan. Which most of the time people that say that are telling others how to use their money.

The Reason why the Veteran founders don't get a C-Bill boosted mech is because we already get one month of 50% increased C-Bills and Experience.

Well if prices in real currency are MC and if you look at the mechlab vid. The hunchback and jenner were 500 mc (hope thats 5$) catapult was 700mc and atlas was 900mc. Maybe I just don't understand MC but looks fair, unless you want to use c-bills, then its TT values.

You will have access to mech's

We will be detailing this to the community fairly soon, just exactly how the new player starts out in MWO

All the newbies start in an Urbanmech right? :(

$30 is good for what you get in the $30 pack. It is perfect for anyone who knows they will put money into the game either way.

I actually thought they might allow players to buy more than one $30 pack to stack. $90 would get 3 months premium subscription, on top of legendary that would be...

6 months subscription

4 mechs

$200 worth of c-bills

Anyone who knows they will spend about $210 on a games store within a year anyway, knows this would be a great opportunity.
