Pretty sure he didn't mention what was earmarked. And if a proper in game chat system is THAT hard? Fire your programmers.

It's 2014. Great.. You once again proved you can make mechs and sell packages. Now follow through on the other unfinished stuff you've started and abandoned.

FoV slider no.1. Right now changing your FoV is almost an exploit vs new players because they don't even know you can, let alone how to do it. A slider is long needed.

Mouse wheel binding no.2. You zoom with the mouse wheel! You always zoom with the mouse wheel!

Whether or not it's realistic, if ammo explosions sounded like Chinese firecrackers -- and kept cooking off for 20 seconds? Oh, man.

All of this stuff needs to be done. And all of it is less important than having
  • a "Smurfy"-style 'MechLab format (when modifying a configuration), and
  • toggle functionality for TAG.

We could really use hardpoint ordering. I've always wanted to choose in which hardpoints I wanted to place my weapons, like whether I want to place the LRM-5 on my Griffin in the cylindrical shoulder launcher, or in the forward lower torso.

Definitely like this, I like a recent more communicative devs, since I left before UI 1.0 anyway.

I would say the choice is easy, prioritise the areas that have an effect on a pilot's performance, First with building the mech, then UI then maybe lastly the sounds.
I myself pay attention to the damage feedback, but still like to see a better version, alot of people seem to not notice when I sneak up in a light and alpha their backs....

My original list did have toggle for both AMS and TAG listed, don't know why it's not in the poll... hopefully we will get both some time.

You guys should have polls like this more often! Also it would be cool to have a real clink of reloading AC shells for all the ACs. It really adds a lot.

Definitely voted for hardpoint ordering. While it is technically possible through weird methods to get things to go where you want them, some mechs are stubborn ******** that like changing the weapon positions when you save the loadout and lots of people don't know how to circumvent it. Even then it's annoying when it pops up and you have to eat a loss of sometimes a lot of cbills to make it work.

Aside from that the other thing I want most (that isn't a Warhammer/Marauder/Hellbringer/Mad Dog) is an expanded range of choices for Betty, or at least more lines, especially on target destruction like the old MW2 one here: http://wavs.unclebub.../enemydestr.wav With the recent additions of warhorns though I could see an "enemy mech destroyed" line conflicting with a warhorn, so honestly it might even be easy to do it by making a warhorn of betty saying "Enemy mech destroyed" for everyone to hear.

All that I want is for all the monitors in the cockpit to do something instead of saying 'no signal' Would add to the mech to have them do something!

The answer is simple: All of them! :)

But what I'm most shocked about is that there are no mentions of fixing all those annoying unnecessary obstacles to usability flow in the out-of-game UI. You know, things like...

- Streamline those bloody confirmation dialogs: When I exit mech customization, don't ask me if I really want to abandon my changes, ask me if I want to save them.
- "Check out" should be "Save changes" if no money is spent, and the button should be waaay bigger
- Fix the mousewheel in the mech list
- Add list view instead of tile view to all mech lists
- Add equipped items to inventory lists and show me what mech they're equipped on
- Module finder functionality - or better yet, modules as unlocked options, not as items
- Esc key to close the social menu
- Hotkey for the social menu
- Keyboard navigation for everything

...and those are just what I can think of off the top of my head. UI 2.0 might be technically superior on the backend, and it is definitely prettier than the old UI, but it made the process of using it even more horrible than it was before. You should probably talk to someone who has some experience with UX design and give the entire thing a proper polish pass. The out-of-game UI is something we all interact with every day we play this game, and I've stopped counting the amount of times I've facepalmed and headdesked at some of the stupid design decisions that made its usability absolutely horrible.

Sorry if that sounds negative, but that's how it is. I love this game, I just wish it wouldn't be physically painful to setup mechs.

This is all great! Glad you guys are giving us the option on voting for what we want, and these small improvements will really help the game feel better.

Gotta say that I'm a sucker for the HTAL diagram, though I'd love to hear Betty's voice more often as well!
