Forgive if I'm late to the QQ party here, but when I bought MC, I expected it to not be ******** worthless.

Do they really think people want to spend another $55+ when the $60 or more they already spent is deemed worthless?

Much wow. So bad.


edit: to be more specific - you can buy MC for real-dollars, but still not buy in-game items with it. This type of sale is a ploy to get those who already purchased MC for real-dollars to spend more money to get their clan nostalgia. When I bought founders, I never saw a warning that my real-dollars would be useless at purchasing in-game content until months after its release. Psshh, the MC purchase page should have a bright, yellow/red warning telling you that MC cannot be used to buy new mechs.

Uhhhh, I bought MC under the condition that I could use it to buy in-game items without grinding for it.

Then, they release items that you can buy, but not with MC.

Please search for it.

I think the mechs trickle out starting in 2 to 4 weeks or so.

I used to play a lot. At one point I had most of this forum supporting my suggested changes to game balance. PGI went the other way, and a lot of good players left.

Game is still broken. THeir business decisions are even more off putting.

I know the free2play games/studios are like the gypsies of the gaming world, but dang, PGI really scarred the mechwarrior franchise for life.

October to get a Timberwolf. Sorry PGI for buying MC from you. Sorry it was so offensive that I cant use it and must spend more money to get it while my MC continues to rot.

Were you not around for the Phoenix Pack? I assume you're referring to the fact we can't buy Clan mechs right away, even with MC. They did it this way with the previous pack. That's why they call it a pre-order. ;o

pre-order implies you buy it early, not early access

I would understand clan being MC or real $ only, and not C-bills

removing MC from the picture is an attempt to get you to spend more $$$ while your already spent money is useless

I was guessing you were one of those guys that paid for Founders and then missed a good portion of the last couple years. This was the same thing they had for the Phoenix package. It's not exactly pay to win...it's just pay to play now. Also, Clan mechs aren't exactly invincible.
