best option I know of is to go and create a free photobucket account http://photobucket.com/ and have your picture reside there so you can click on the add picture link it will ask for that URL. or you can create a free dropbox account https://www.dropbox.com/ and put the picture in the public section and use the create public link option to host your picture.
hope this helps.

Thanks
If wanted I can send the .psd via e-mail, for investigation. The simple distortion effect was done tweaking the layers frame-by-frame. Its roughly 9.5mb in total iirc. And I did cheat a little using 3D Max for the logo animation (MentalRay render) and wire-model, the latter was a minor speed model made 2-3 years ago I think.

Ugh, this 80px limit is killing me. I've been trying for hours, and this image just can't be smaller than *x166 without looking absolutely stupid.
I need to put on my thinking cap I guess.

Ahh.. the joys of signature images. Always fun trying to fit ideas into a small space.
As for Photobucket, I have to agree with CoffiNail, I've had a lot of issues with images not showing up based on the different browers. Imgurl is better, IMO. Then again, I use my own server, and have no problems what-so-ever..

You just have to be a bit more creative and innovative due to the restrictions.
