It proves the Nova can hold it's own in the group que.

We may not be winning - but our scores (damage - kills - components destroyed - total score) are showing at least as much as anyone else on our teams

Well yeah you are probably right, today the Nova worked way better than usual, but I can not say if that is Nova related, I see our direwlves and they are not as good as the ones I usually drop with. And our opps seem to miss quite a lot compared to those 0,5 seconds to alpha my face guys that I usually have as opps. Later when I have maxed all clanstuff and such, I gonna try IS mediums, I still expect them to work better tbh. Purely by the way of what they in my theory are capable of. But this will take a few month until i am there. It just needs to be proofed empirically.
The other question is, why do so many people not like the nova that much if at this ranks of opps it works that good. Which it never worked as well the last weeks.

No, point was to check the usability of the Nova, and as said, The amount of time I survived in this matches is extremely unusual compared to the matches I normally have in the Nova.
We make a scarecrow experiment the next time.

It is much taller than usual (very short mech in the lore - mech2 most mechs shot over it's head unless aiming down)
It is very very wide (always was though) - which in combination makes it a fairly easy target
Runs hot
and clan lasers have horrid burn times

But like the 4 (or 6) PPC Stalker (or it's modern LL brother) by far not the worst either

Honestly, I'm starting to *like* and get used to the burn-times on the Clan Lasers. I think I'm running a TC3 on my Nova, the rest are heatsinks (what isn't MG Ammo). The only thing I don't like about the Nova is the "knuckledragger" aspect. The arms are so low-slung that depending on angles, you end up hitting the ground half the time. By that same token though, you can do some absurd corner-peeks with it, another good reason to make sure your two main groups are half your lasers split (between arms) so you can fire only one "side" at a time.
