You mean the Nova that can fry itself if it fires it's guns just second to fast. The one with probably the greatest weakness to ghostheat. The one with the low slung arms, low podspace, and massive protruding CT and that can lose half or all it's firepower if you take out it's arms ? P2W, WHUT ?
Direwolves are only dangerous if you sit and stare them down, news flash - they are giant walking walls of firepower that can't turn for **** and can barely look up or down. Don't fight them in a tunnel and you will be fine.

As I watched they attempted to predict and counter the flighty buggers movements but it kept getting round, chewing up arms and rear torso (it was a 3m with about 4 meds). All through this I kept thinking... God I wish there was a way I could stream this right now as a barely 1 mil C bill mech stripped a 'pay to win' clanner down for spare parts...
Now the locust pilot clearly had his head screwed on, but it really does show that scary firepower comes at a scary price!

If the ONLY way to get Clan was by paying real world money, then you'd have an argument. But it's not that way so you're just another legged Locust trying to get away. ggclose.

Soon*
Seriously, it's supposed to be in the "Fall", although as Russ Bullocks says, Fall can mean up to Dec 21. We'll see.

balancing is not happening with that in mind if teams are mixed.
is there a link where it is said mechs will be restricted to side?
and if you bought a lot of IS mechs will you have to make a new clan account?
will we be able to transfer mechs between accounts?
or will we be able to play either side? (seems very open to manipulation)

I like how this word "freeloaders" is now commonly used on these forums, apparently now if somebody did not buy a clan pack, maybe for being burned by PGI in some way, cannot in good conscious justify in spending more money on this game or who knows maybe cannot afford buying into clan packs are all now freeloaders? It is not like this game is F2P.
Maybe all the freeloaders should leave?
At this stage the only way to get clans is for real world money, so until they are available for C-bills then you would have an argument. Yes "ggclose"

Supporters of the game should be rewarded, with something exclusive but not something breaks the game in favour of its users.
While Clan meches in general ain't that overpowered. Certain types do have crazy mount points that IP players cannot dream of. Combined with the already powerful Clan energy weapons, it can become a big red "I WIN" button easily.

1. Ballistic pinpoint damage: easier to snap shot 5, 10 or 20 damage on the move.
2. Cooler energy weapons: IS lasers fire faster, deliver their damage faster and run cooler.
3. Customization: WAY more options with IS mechs to change your mechs fighting abilities.
4. SRM SRM SRM: Ever since the fixed SRMs they have become the IS "Ace in the hole" put 3 SRM backs on any mech and watch componants drop!
3. God mode: people in clan mechs think they are invincible. This makes them careless and too reliant on the power of their weapons.
You wont win them all but you can still **** face in a IS mech. Those "meta" builds that worked against IS mechs wont cut it any more. You. Need to go into the mech lab and make builds that work gor long and short range engagements. That is half the fun of the game. Do t give up and good luck!

As long as I'm accused of P2W, then yes, I'll use Freeloader....

Where is it said that Clan mechs are exclusive? They will be available for CBills soon enough.

6 months from now when everyone has clan mechs, the debate will be a faint memory, and we will see posts about "give the Awesome love" again.
Play on.
