Command Console and Targeting Computer information available someplace yet? I am curious about these but must have missed it previously discussed.

It would be beneficial if we could start up the test client tonight and patch it up, at least to the point prior to the patch being tested, so we don't have to waste a ton of time patching tomorrow.

Stop with the 3/3/3/3. It was awful when it was in. Balance the teams against each other, yes, but don't dictate to us how we should play your game. Games with five assaults aside are fun, regardless of whether or not they concur with your vision for the game, and you should respect that. Also, it was implemented as split lances of one mech per weight class; this makes no tactical sense whatsover. You want all your heavies together and all your lights together.

I don't know if I am misunderstanding the wording, but near as I can tell, it is already to late to sign up for the test. Then they have it taking place on a week day, isn't the point of a test to have as many points of (player) data as possible? Yes, the Portal song started playing in my head.

Honestly this game needs to be twice as big to do what they originally planned.

Let us hope the results transfer better from test to live this time.

All in all though, more good news. Now to keep up the pace and deliver CW and collisions this year. I want to believe in you guys and I like what I see so far, but the big enchilada is CW.

Hmmmm ... asking someone to come to the Test server and check your code is almost like asking a guy to come and work for free. You basically get absolutely nothing for your time and effort. If someone over at PGI was smart, they would give an incentive for people to come to the Test server.

2 outcomes. Everyone gladly redistributes what mech they are using. Everything works out fine. The other is Search Warrior online.

I am gonna guess search warrior online. Even if it does work high ELO players will still be forced to drop heavy since the only premade on their team is them. If their PUG players (predominantly bad to equal out ELO) are terrible then they would have lost a majority of their tonnage. Furthermore there is nothing accounting for less optimal builds. This means many mechs that are non-viable in high ELO will remain non viable Battle value with a meta adjuster is essential to balancing pug matches.

So i just thought of this, are you going to make any more IS mechs that use the Command Console, because right now there's one.... and the Target ting computer can be used by all clan mechs. So... yea, how about a Cyclops? or something.

The times listed are essentially 1300-1700 Pacific time, to "catch the most players in that time zone". You guys realize you chose the afternoon....on a Tuesday....when most folks will be at work....right?

Probably would have been better to do those times on a weekend, or later in the evening (1800-2200, early enough for our younger players to hit it before bed, and runs late enough for our older players to hit it after their young'uns go to sleep)

Just a suggestion.

Am I missing something? How is 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Pacific essentially 1300-1700? I've never been in the military, but isn't 4 p.m. 1600 and 8 p.m. is 2000?

You're not, the person you quoted doesn't know how military time works. So you would be correct.

I think 11-man groups should be allowed into the group queue, just give them a warning pop-up that they will (most likely) have a one man disadvantage.

heck it could even give the MM a few more options to create a 11v11 match if say it already had a group of 5 and a group of 3, and there was another group of 3 in the queue but no 4-man group

wouldnt a weight limit (for example 350-720 per team) work better than the 3/3/3/3?
